With the development of science,the needs of talents in various countries are becoming more and more urgent.How to use core concepts to cultivate talents who meet the requirements of the new era is one of the hotspots of education in various countries.The implementation of teaching evaluation according to the core concepts conforms to the international teaching concept and is also one of the means to test the quality of classroom teaching."Electrostatic field" is the most important and difficult point in high school physics teaching.According to the author’s analysis,compared with other concept assessment studies,the research on the core concepts of electrostatic field is less and not closely integrated with teaching practice.Therefore,this article will study the evaluation of the core concepts of electrostatic field from the perspectives of students,teachers,and concepts,so as to improve students’ understanding of electrostatic field concepts.The paper determines the research method and framework based on the analysis of the research background,the research on the core concepts and the application of the Rasch model in the evaluation.The main work of this paper is as follows: Firstly,the core concepts of electrostatic field are refined,which are: charge and its properties,the properties of electrostatic field force,and the properties of electrostatic field energy.According to the framework of scientific concept understanding,the cognitive development of the core concept of electrostatic field is divided into five levels.Secondly,use winsteps software to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the quality of the test questions,delete and modify the abnormal performance of the test questions,and get the formal test questions.Thirdly,analyze the data from different dimensions and get the development characteristics of the core concept of electrostatic field of high school students.Finally put forward corresponding teaching opinions and strategies around the core concept of electrostatic field.Research shows:(1)The retest results showed that the reliability of the test subjects was 0.73 and the resolution was 1.65;while the project reliability was 0.98 and the resolution was 7.09.It can be seen that after adjustment,the quality of the test items has been improved to meet the expected requirements.(2)Most of the students(52.0%)are in Level 3,32.2% are in level 4,and the students in level 1 and level 2 account for 3.95%and 3.95% respectively.Only a few students(5.26%)can reach the highest level.(3)The average level of the core concept of electrostatic field of senior three is higher than senior two.The average level of core concept of electrostatic field of male students is higher than that of female students,but there is no obvious difference.And the average level of the core concept of electrostatic field in school is higher than that in school B,and the difference is significant.(4)In this test,for students,the problem of "the nature of electrostatic field force" is the most difficult,followed by the problem of "the nature of electrostatic field energy",and the problem of "charge and its nature" is the easiest.Based on the research conclusions,the author puts forward the teaching strategies of electrostatic field based on the core concepts from three aspects:1.Organize the teaching design around the core concepts:(1)Formulate the classroom teaching objectives according to the core concepts of electrostatic field.(2)Clarify the classroom teaching problems according to the cognitive development level of electrostatic field.2.Use analogy strategy to break through the key and difficult points of electrostatic field teaching:(1)Use analogy to optimize the presentation of electrostatic field concepts;(2)Make good use of previous concepts to improve the level of understanding of electrostatic field concepts.3.Introduce life situation to improve teaching level:(1)Demonstration experiment display,experience the process of obtaining the concept of electrostatic field;(2)Introduction of life situation to optimize the teaching effect of electrostatic field concept.
