Cooperative inquiry teaching is a beneficial teaching paradigm with rich theoretical basis Conic curve is an important part of curriculum standard and college entrance examination because of its difficulty,large thinking capacity and flexible problem setting Taking the conic part of senior high school as the carrier,this paper carries out teaching practice research based on cooperative inquiry,so as to explore an effective way to improve students’ core literacy.Based on the conic curve,the completion degree of some students is not high,and the cognitive basis,thinking quality and complexity of each student are limited and different.This paper carries out the following experiments: taking two parallel classes with the same foundation as the research object,one class adopts more traditional receptive teaching,and the other class adopts cooperative inquiry teaching design,During the teaching process,students are divided into groups according to the principle of "homogeneity between groups and heterogeneity within groups" in advance,so that students can discuss with each other,record and integrate,and sort out the results of the group Through quantitative and qualitative analysis,through paper and pencil tests,it is found that the class with cooperative inquiry has more advantages in performance,and the speed of doing questions and thinking have also been improved Through the interview with students,it is found that students have a clearer understanding of different concepts,more pure and direct thinking on some common questions of conic curve,and can even summarize some practical problem-solving steps,and have an obvious grasp of the understanding and transfer of this part Through the study of conic curve and equation,we further understand the idea of the combination of number and shape,and improve students’ core literacy In addition,students’ learning attitude towards mathematics has been improved,their language organization ability and communication and cooperation ability have been improved,and a better class atmosphere has been created In addition,practice has proved that this paper is also conducive to improving teachers’ professional quality,and provides a reference direction for school-based research in the future.
