High school stage is the "jointing and booting period" of students' growth,which is the critical moment for students' development.As a citizen quality education course,high school politics plays an important role in educating people at this stage.General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the "eight unification" at the National Ideological and Political Teachers' Symposium on March 18,2019,which includes the "unification of indoctrination and inspiration" and requires teachers to pay more attention to inspiration education in the teaching process.Heuristic teaching,as a kind of teaching thought and teaching method that can effectively implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on "Reform and innovation of ideological and political theory course",has achieved initial success in the current stage of ideological and political teaching in senior high schools,but there are still some problems.Therefore,the author will explore the application of heuristic teaching in high school ideological and political courses.This study includes four parts except the introduction.The first part is an overview of heuristic teaching.It includes the connotation and characteristics of heuristic teaching,the theoretical basis of its application in high school politics and its realistic necessity.The second part analyzes the main achievements of heuristic teaching in the application of high school ideological and political courses by interviewing teachers and issuing questionnaires to high school students.For example,teachers have a certain understanding of heuristic teaching theory and the status of heuristic teaching in the teaching process has been improved.However,at the same time,it is found that there are many problems in the application of heuristic teaching in high school ideological and political courses,such as the cognitive deviation of current ideological and political teachers in heuristic teaching,improper design of heuristic content,emphasis on conclusion rather than process in heuristic teaching,and the teaching phenomenon of "enlightening but not enlightening".So as to find out the root of the problem by combining the current reality.Specifically,it includes the negative influence of exam-oriented education,the low professional quality of ideological and political teachers,and the lack of ideological and political teachers' analysis of learning situation.Therefore,based on the above analysis results,the third part of the school,teachers,students from the three levels of high school ideological and political lessons to apply heuristic teaching optimization strategy.First,at the school level,we should strengthen the construction of high school ideological and political teachers,and create a campus cultural atmosphere for students to be happy and thoughtful.Secondly,at the level of teachers,teachers should deepen their understanding of heuristic teaching,respect the individual differences of students and teach students according to their aptitude,improve the skills of heuristic teaching,and integrate other teaching methods in the teaching process.Finally,at the level of students,individuals should actively cultivate their awareness of problems,improve their knowledge reserves,and timely reflect and summarize.The fourth part takes the class of social security in China as an example,and takes the improved heuristic teaching application strategy as the behavior guide to elaborate the specific application process of heuristic teaching in practical teaching activities.Therefore,the research on the application of heuristic teaching in high school politics is conducive to deepening teachers' understanding of heuristic teaching and improving their application skills.It is helpful to help students better understand the ideological and political curriculum content,internalize the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the internal motivation to promote students to adhere to the ideal,and realize its comprehensive development.
