The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Regular High Schools(2017 revised 2020)requires students to take autonomy,cooperation and inquiry as their main learning methods to broaden their reading horizons and improve their reading appreciation ability.Novel reading can improve readers 'literary awareness and literary literacy,and novel is the most favorite literary style for students to read,but at present,novel teaching has not achieved good results in improving students' literary awareness and appreciation ability.In view of this,the author will be high school novel inquiry teaching application practice as a research object,through literature analysis,classroom observation,interview,case analysis,the high school novel teaching pattern,teaching concept,students lack of learning initiative,lack of interest in teaching material novel teaching analysis,on the basis of exploring the reason,for the development of high school novel inquiry teaching countermeasures.This paper uses four methods of literature research,interview,case analysis and classroom observation to study the application of inquiry teaching in high school novels.The background of the topic of the thesis,discusses the necessity of the research from the practical dilemma and the subject demand,and discusses the importance of the research from practical and theoretical significance.At the same time,the meaning and related concepts of inquiry teaching are defined,the basic characteristics and theoretical basis of inquiry teaching are defined,and a clearer understanding of inquiry teaching.According to the data of classroom observation and interview,the author analyzes and summarizes the problems existing in high school novel teaching,and expounds the reasons for these problems from the perspective of teachers and students.According to the problems existing in high school novel teaching,the author designs the application strategy:create situation,stimulate interest,grasp the style,core construction;group cooperation,select problems;teachers and students study,summarize and solve the problem;and proposes the inquiry teaching of high school novel,as well as narrative skills,structure skills and language characteristics,and reflect on the teaching activities.This paper studies from the high school novel inquiry teaching theory to the teaching practice,and has the practical conclusions to prove that the inquiry teaching can better promote the high school novel teaching.
