With the rapid development of modern society,the number of information people is exposed to every day rises exponentially.To better absorb and digest information to keep up with the times,improving reading speed has become a task that people must complete.The Compulsory Education Language Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)sets out the reading speed requirements for students at the primary school level and specifies the standards which the students should be achieved.The unified version of the introductory language textbook is based on developing students' reading skills.It has four units on reading strategies,one of which is the unit on "Improving Reading Speed".Due to the late release of the unified language textbooks and the differences between the strategy units and the traditional units,the study of the unit on 'increasing reading speed' is relatively weak.Therefore,an analysis of the unit's current status can enhance primary school teachers' understanding of the unit and provide them with sound teaching suggestions to help them improve the quality of their teaching.This study through the literature method,questionnaire survey and interviews and other research methods,related research achievements on the combing core concepts,on the basis of analysis and determine the research primary school Chinese teaching unit to improve reading speed.The present situation of main dimensions,compiled the primary school Chinese teaching unit to improve reading speed.The present situation of questionnaire and interview outline,And 7 all parts of the typical school teachers in H province as the research object,combined with the results of questionnaire and interview,respectively from the unit cognition,unit teaching reflection,unit teaching design analysis of the status quo,in view of the primary school Chinese teaching unit to improve reading speed.The existing problems and the related reasons,This paper puts forward the main improvement countermeasures for the unit of "improving reading speed" in primary School Chinese.The main problems include(1)teachers' lack of precision in unit cognition;(2)teachers' weak feedback ability;(3)teachers' bias in teaching design;(4)teachers' over-awareness of dominating the classroom;and(5)teachers' teaching evaluation philosophy.Old.The main reasons for these problems are:(1)teachers have not yet grasped the characteristics of this unit;(2)teachers' awareness of teaching reflection needs to be improved;(3)teachers' teaching concepts have not yet been updated;(4)teachers' implementation of the new concept is not thorough enough;(5)teachers'evaluation concepts still need to be improved.In response to the above problems,the following measures can be adopted to improve the teaching of the unit "Improving Reading Speed" :(1)optimise teachers' cognitive form of the unit;(2)enhance teachers' awareness of reflecting on the overall teaching process;(3)encourage teachers to update their teaching concepts and design their teaching rationally;(4)build a scaffolding teaching system;(5)using a variety of assessment strategies.
