In the process of learning new concepts, students often base on their own understanding and ideas, and inevitably produce some understandings inconsistent with scientific concepts, which is called "alternative framework".The existence of alternative framework often hinders students' in-depth understanding of scientific concepts and problem-solving ability. In order to promote students' systematic and comprehensive learning of knowledge, teachers should have a profound understanding of what alternative framework students produce and then implement corresponding teaching methods. On the basis of summarizing the research achievements of foreign alternative framework in China, this paper uses the self-written four-paragraph diagnostic test as an investigation tool to explore the alternative framework generated by the students of grade two in the knowledge content of "chemical equilibrium" in the education edition of senior high school and introduces the practicability of the four-paragraph test in the study of alternative framework. The class of the research object was divided into experimental class and ordinary class for data statistics and comparison.According to the diagnosis of alternative framework, the reasons for the formation of students' alternative framework were analyzed and the teaching suggestions for promoting the transformation of "chemical balance" alternative framework were put forward. The analysis of the research results shows that high school sophomores have alternative frameworks of different properties and degrees in the three dimensions of the "chemical equilibrium" content. In terms of typicality of alternative framework, there are 16 typical alternative framework in experimental class students and 27 typical alternative framework in ordinary class students. In terms of the degree of alternative framework, the experimental class students have 14 true and 2 false alternative framework, while the ordinary class students have 22 true and 5 false alternative framework. It can be seen that both the experimental class and the ordinary class students have a lot of alternative frameworks on the content of chemical equilibrium.By comparing the number of alternative frameworks diagnosed in the two classes and their test scores,it can be found that the experimental class students have a better understanding of knowledge than the ordinary class students, which is consistent with the situation of students of different levels.Based on the analysis of the diagnosis results,it is found that the students' alternative framework may be derived from the characteristics of subject knowledge, teachers and personal factors.Five teaching suggestions are put forward to promote the transformation of alternative framework :1.laying emphasis on consolidating basic knowledge and reducing false alternative framework;2.Develop the value of textbook resources and reconstruct teaching design ideas;3.Reasonable design of teaching events to stimulate cognitive conflict and promote cognitive transformation;4.Ingenious design of innovative experiments to enhance intuitive feelings and promote cognitive understanding;5.Cultivate a variety of learning methods, strengthen cognitive structure and promote cognitive internalization. At the same time, this study confirmed the practicality of the four-tier test method in the diagnosis of alternative framework research, relying on the confidence value can not only master the level of students' confidence when doing the questions, but also distinguish the degree of different alternative framework, comprehensive analysis of a variety of data can improve the evaluation results of the test questions, make the questions more scientific and reasonable.
