Mathematics in junior middle school is the basis of middle school mathematics.Many contents and knowledge points are the primary stage of middle school mathematics.However,some contents belong to more difficult modules for students in junior middle school.For example,quadratic function is the knowledge point that makes many students headache.Quadratic function accounts for a large proportion of the score of the middle school examination.At the same time,the study of quadratic function in junior middle school will pave the way for the study in senior high school.Therefore,the quadratic function in junior middle school is only a primary stage.However,for students in Grade 9,quadratic function is still a difficult knowledge point,and they will face many puzzles in the process of learning.The reason is that the ninth grade students have problems in understanding quadratic functions,and their general understanding ability is low.Therefore,this paper studies the ninth grade students' understanding of quadratic function,in order to improve the effectiveness of teaching and enable students to master knowledge faster.The questions studied in this article are:1.What is the current situation of students' understanding level of quadratic function in Grade 9?2.What are the main factors affecting the ninth grade students' understanding level of quadratic function?Based on Piaget's cognitive theory and solo classification theory,this paper takes the quadratic function as the starting point of the research.In the research process,the students in Grade 9 of No.3 middle school in Bachu county are selected as the research object.From concept to image,nature to practical application,the students' understanding level is tested to obtain the current situation of their understanding.Combined with the relevant data in the research process,the main factors affecting students' understanding are analyzed,Based on teaching experience and communication with teachers,this paper analyzes the causes and influencing factors,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.The conclusions are as follows: the understanding level of quadratic function of grade 9 students in Bachu No.3 middle school is not ideal from the overall situation.Through the test,it is found that in the three dimensions,the understanding of concepts is relatively high.The number of students who have reached the highest level accounts for 52.1% of the total number.On the contrary,compared with the concept of quadratic function,the students' understanding level of the image and nature of function is relatively low,accounting for 48.5%,and the understanding level of the practical application of quadratic function is the lowest,which is only 16.7%.From the overall situation,students' understanding level of quadratic function is low.There are three kinds of factors that affect the ninth grade students' understanding level of quadratic function: Students' own factors,teachers' factors and parents' factors.According to the current situation of students' understanding level of quadratic function and influencing factors,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions for front-line teachers and students.
