In recent years,STEM education has been attached great importance in developed countries around the world.Some countries have promoted STEM education to the height of national strategic development and strengthened the cultivation of innovative composite talents to enhance their core competitiveness worldwide.Robot education is the activity carrier of STEM education.Learning from the progress and results of STEM education and robot education in the world is of great importance to better carry out robot education in China.At present,there are three problems in the development of robot education in China.First,there are large regional differences.Most of the researches are concentrated in first-tier cities,while there are few researches on the development of second and third-tier cities,and even fewer researches on the basic education in primary schools.Second,the research on robot education in China tends to focus on the theory of the status quo and the practice of teaching mode,but lacks the research on education management and evaluation system.Three is robot teaching implementation of the education in our country,the lack of STEM education theory to guide,a light weight technology teaching,the phenomenon such as heavy competition is light to expand application of robot education policy ideas for better implementation of the ground,the formation of Chinese characteristic socialism robot development road of innovation education,to cultivate the innovation of science and technology in the 21 st century to compound talents.This study redefines the connotation and core literacy of robot education under STEM education by analyzing the core journals and postgraduate and doctoral theses of STEM education and robot education at home and abroad in recent years.Through questionnaires and interviews,several primary schools in Kunming were selected to investigate the important factors affecting the development of robot education from the macro,medium and micro levels.Combined with the existing development experience of robot education at home and abroad,the reference strategies for promoting the development of robot education were proposed.It is embodied in the following aspects:From the macro aspect,a perfect primary school robot education ecosystem development system should be established to carry out top-level design and pay attention to theoretical and time innovation.From the middle perspective,from the school management team to teachers should constantly strengthen self-learning and management innovation.In terms of management,the construction of school informatization leadership should be strengthened,informatization and robot education project promotion team should be set up,monitoring and evaluation should be strengthened,detection index system should be built,etc.,so as to improve the effectiveness of management.Excellent teachers and systematic courses are important guarantees for the smooth and efficient development of robot education.In terms of teachers,the implementation of talents training smooth plan,improve the training system of teachers,increase policy guidance and improve the incentive system,speed up the construction of robot education teachers.In the curriculum,under the guidance of constructivism and other educational theories,the robot curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning construction under the STEM education concept should be done well,curriculum objectives should be established,teaching objectives should be improved,hardware and software resources should be developed,and smart classes should be created to improve the teaching environment and enrich the teaching and learning of robot education.In terms of the evaluation system,the robot education evaluation system can be gradually enriched and improved by formulating scientific evaluation standards,encouraging the adoption of various evaluation methods,and formulating evaluation objects and detailed rules.From microcosmic aspect,education is to the training and development of human beings,after all in the era of rapid development of science and technology,development of robot education,pay attention to STEM the cultivation of students' scientific literacy in the concept of education,but also to pay attention to weight the establishment of students' social responsibility and values,cultivate qualified successors to socialist modernization construction of our country.At the central Talent Work Conference,President Xi proposed to focus on training future strategic scientists and reserve high-level interdisciplinary talents.The development of robot education under the STEM education concept has a long way to go.We need to start from basic education and every educator to cultivate socialist high-tech compound talents.
