With the rapid and widespread integration of the Internet into society,the overuse of online games has become an increasingly serious socio-psychological problem.The problem of online game addiction among secondary vocational students is very serious.Studies have shown that sensory seeking as an important personality factor that affects online game addiction can positively predict online game addiction.Vocational school students are in their adolescence and feel that the level of sensory seeking is the peak period of their lives.Students with high sense of seeking will put forward higher requirements on the campus atmosphere and easily perceive a bad campus atmosphere,while a good perception of the school atmosphere will reduce the cost of online games addiction.Because secondary vocational students and ordinary primary and secondary school students have different retraining goals and educational methods,but there is no campus atmosphere perception scale for secondary vocational students.Therefore,this article revised the campus atmosphere perception scale suitable for secondary vocational students and tried to explore the mechanism of the perception of campus atmosphere of secondary vocational students in the process of sensory seeking to influence online game addiction.Study 1 revised the campus atmosphere perception scale for secondary vocational students.In order to obtain a campus atmosphere perception scale suitable for secondary vocational students,this study combined the Chinese version of the Delaware Campus Atmosphere Perception Scale(student paper)to conduct an open questionnaire survey of campus atmosphere perception among 107 secondary vocational students.With word frequency analysis,obtained a campus atmosphere perception scale suitable for secondary vocational students,and then used the scale to survey 930 secondary vocational students,Using SPSS and AMOS for data processing,it proved good reliability and validity of the scale,and the results found that: the campus atmosphere perception of secondary vocational students is different from that of ordinary middle school students,including 6 dimensions: teacher-student relationship,classmate relationship,respect for diversity,campus safety,campus bullying,professional ability training.Study 2 explored the role played by secondary vocational students’ campus atmosphere perception in the process of sensory seeking to influence online game addiction.This study used the Campus Atmosphere Perception Scale,Sensory Seeking Scale,and Online Game Addiction Questionnaire for secondary vocational students to conduct an online questionnaire survey on 1030 secondary vocational students.Using SPSS and MPLUS for data processing,which confirmed that the perception of campus atmosphere affects the process of online game addiction.It proves that the perception of campus atmosphere plays an intermediary role in the process of sensory seeking to influence online game addiction,and the results found that:(1)In terms of online game addiction,boys are significantly higher than girls,and students in the first and third grades are significantly more addicted to the Internet than in the second grade.(2)In terms of sensation seeking,boys are significantly higher than girls,and second and third grade students are significantly higher than those of first grade.(3)In terms of perception of campus atmosphere: girls score lower than boys on campus bullying dimension;second and third grade students are significantly higher than those of first grade in respect for diversity and professional ability training.(4)After controlling for gender and grade,: sensation seeking can significantly positively predict online game addiction behavior of secondary vocational students;sensation seeking can negatively predict campus atmosphere perception;campus atmosphere perception can negatively predict online game addiction.Conclusion: The perception of campus atmosphere of vocational students plays a part of the mediating role between sensation seeking and online game addiction.
