In recent years, the intervention of bullying on campus is still based on the dualistic view, that is,the bully and the bullied. After the trauma, the bullying is intervened by individual cases and groups. However, bullying is not a simple two-way process, but has a variety of connections with others around,The intervention of others around or the change of environment will have an impact on the development of bullying behavior. As an important resource that can directly intervene in the problem of campus bullying, the following issues should be discussed in-depth: why the bystanders can not show their own advantages, why the group power can not form a deterrent to the bully.Based on this, the author uses convenience sampling to conduct a questionnaire survey on the students of X Middle School in S City, and finds that there is inconsistency between campus bullying spectators' attitude towards bullying and their role choice, and their attitude is positive, but there are contradictions in the way they do when they witness campus bullying and their self role positioning. The contradiction between the attitude towards bullying and the role choice may be the reason why the bystanders can not play an active role in intervention. Therefore, this paper mainly from the perspective of bystanders, using the process role theory, using semi-structured interviews as the main method, supplemented by non participatory observation, analyzes the process of bystander role construction: from peer groups, parents and teachers to understand the impact of different groups of role expectations on bystanders;Secondly, the problems in the role understanding of the bystander are reflected through the bystander's association words of the role, the bystander's perception of the other's expectation and the bystander's judgment of the self status quo;Thirdly, from the perspective of self exploration in the role practice level, this paper discusses the failure of interaction, self adjustment and expectation, and the distance between imagination and reality in the process of role practice.Through the process of role construction, this paper aims to understand the reasons that hinder the formation of the role of the active intervener among the bystanders, mainly including the difference of role expectation, the one sidedness of role understanding and the complexity of role practice. From the perspective of society, school and individual,we can find the ways to promote the formation of the role of active interveners in bystanders: first,we should give intervention expectation from the social level;Second, from the school level: accurately positioning the role of bystanders, cultivating opinion leaders, establishing the mechanism of rewards and punishments for intervention, etc;Third, from the individual level: the reconstruction of cognition empathy behavior, and improve the internal consistency of role construction. In order to solve the problem of campus bullying from the root,we should take the bystanders as the core and provide effective services for the bystanders.
