Plane geometry is an important part of mathematics.The study of plane geometry helps students to cultivate their intuitive imagination and logical reasoning accomplishment,and inspires students to actively think and explore the spirit of truth.In mathematics competition,plane geometry is one of the most important contents,its teaching mode is mainly teaching method,ignoring the natural process of knowledge generation and the relationship between the important theorems,students' thinking level can not effectively develop.HPM in recent years,become the focus of research in mathematics teaching,and the use of mathematical history for competition of textbook knowledge and key points of research problems does not see more,connect to the history of mathematics at the same time using the theorem on competition of plane geometry teaching as the main line of research also did not appear,so for its ground-breaking research has the vital significance.In addition,this study also aims to explore the positive impact of plane geometry competition class from the perspective of HPM on students' learning and teachers' teaching.Through preparation,design,implementation and analysis,this study draws the following conclusions: History of mathematics into the problem situation,using the method of teaching,stimulate students' learning motivation,based on the theory of the zone of proximal development under the guidance of teachers to "re-creation" theorem,the theorem of the variable type and extension and exercises on part adopts traditional Chinese type teaching method,can form effective competition of plane geometry content overall consciousness,Understand the connection between theorems and the uniqueness of each theorem,and realize the immortal charm of plane geometry.In the test based on Van Hill's geometric thinking level,78.57% of the students reached the level 4.Teaching from the perspective of HPM helps to improve teachers' professional knowledge and teaching design ability,and forms a teaching design framework for competition courses from the perspective of HPM.
