Postgraduates are a preparatory force for academic development,as well as high-level talents for economic and social development.However,as academic newcomers,postgraduates have problems of weak awareness of academic norms and lack of academic research capabilities.A small number of postgraduates even violated academic norms to varying degrees,which adversely affected the quality of postgraduate talent training.Through effective academic norm education,the research ethics of postgraduates can be improved,the academic research ability of postgraduates can be exercised,and the overall development of postgraduates can be promoted.Based on this,this article takes the academic normative education of graduate students as the research theme,mainly using text analysis,questionnaire survey and interview survey methods.Taking four universities in Jiangsu Province as examples,it focuses on "what,why,how and what to do” to conduct research on four issues.This article is mainly divided into five parts.The first part mainly studies the question of "what" and "why",namely the connotation and value.First of all,based on the literature review,it explains the connotation of the academic normative education for postgraduates from the three dimensions of content system,approach,and main characteristics,laying a logical framework for follow-up research.Secondly,it discusses the value of academic norms education for graduate students from the three levels of master students,universities and academic development.The second to fourth parts mainly study the question of "how",that is,the status quo of development.The second part grasps the status quo of the development of academic normative education for graduate students from a macro level.At the institutional level,it systematically sorted out the documents and regulations related to academic norms issued by relevant national departments and graduate training units;in the practical dimension,we have a deep understanding of the practical exploration of academic norms education by graduate training units.The third part is from the aspects and points,taking four colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province as an example,to conduct a survey of the status quo.On an objective level,use text analysis to sort out the relevant school rules and regulations of the four universities and understand the institutional environment of academic normative education.On a subjective level,through questionnaire surveys and interviews,we can understand the development and implementation effects of academic normative education for graduate students.The fourth part combines the attitude evaluation of master students and their expectations for improvement,and analyzes the implementation process of the academic normative education for master students,including the start time,content arrangement,ways and participants.And try to explain the reasons from the cultural environment,system construction and education object level.The fifth part mainly studies the "how to do" problem.In view of the problems and their causes,suggestions are made: On the one hand,we should promote the diversification of the participants in the academic normative education of postgraduates.Society,universities,teachers,and graduate students should form a joint force to make up for the deficiencies in the cultural environment,education system,and educational objects.On the other hand,the academic norms education for postgraduates should be run through the whole process.Arrange a reasonable starting point,content system,and methods for academic normative education activities from the stages of pre-entry,enrollment,process,and graduation season,supplemented by online education methods that are not restricted by time and space.Looking to the future,the improvement of the quality of graduate education will provide basic support for the academic standard education of graduate students,and the reasonable implementation of supervision and punishment mechanisms will provide external guarantees.
