This study takes the idolatry of junior high school students as the breakthrough point,trying to peer into the tension between the student subculture and the mainstream culture of the school.The research adopts qualitative research method.In the aspect of data collection,semi-structured interviews are mainly used,supplemented by some participatory observation.It is found that the mainstream culture of the school has a realistic orientation,which advocates the value of abstract knowledge and ignores the daily demands of students.As a result,students' idolatry subculture rarely comes into the vision of education and even faces a distorted situation.The school mainstream culture has an adult mentality,which makes the school mainstream culture,on the one hand,regard the student idolatry subculture as a transitional physiological and cultural phenomenon,so it is not concerned about,on the other hand,from a commanding attitude to examine the student idolatry subculture,consider it superficial and childish;The mainstream school culture also has the characteristics of paternalism,which regards students as people with insufficient rationality and unformed values,and believes that only through the strict restrictions of external environment can students grow into ideal adults.Therefore,the idolatry subculture of students is also distrusts by the mainstream school culture.However,from the perspective of students,idol worship has the stylistic characteristics of "extraordinary" and "ordinary" opposition,"emotion" and "rational" unity,"entertainment" and "education" and "resistance" and "negative" coexistence.These characteristics indicate a subculture that is not only entertaining,but also diverse in meaning and giving.Therefore,the study finds that there are multiple tensions between school mainstream culture and student subculture: rational mainstream culture and diversified subculture.The former shows the common situation of "segregation" in school education and the educational function of "integration" in school education;Institutionalization of school culture and personalized student culture,the former shows that school education system is the identity of human nature as its premise,and thus formed the modern education of the one and only legal forms,while the latter reveals the human nature is not a constant not easy thing,but change is various,so we hope that the more diverse forms of education;One-way transmission and multivariate culture production,the former shows that school mainstream culture mistrust of the student subculture and the culture of the one-way transmission of education,conservative subculture while the latter shows that the students are diverse cultural creation and construction,and school education only tried to make their future social incubator can respond to the student subculture that culture creation.
