| In recent years,with the advancement of hardware equipment and information technology,e-sports has attracted the attention of a large number of young people.These young people who have interest and hobbies in e-sports gather in cyberspace to form an interest-related group of e-sports.They ridicule and spoof e-sports professional games,e-sports teams,and e-sports players,thereby forming an interest-related-culture of e-sports with a playful style.The study takes this e-sports interest-related culture of playful style that appears on the Internet as the research object,selects the professional games of "League of Legends" as a case,takes the youth subculture as the research perspective,and research the playful style of e-sports interest-related culture through virtual ethnography,text analysis,interviews and other research methods.Firstly,the study analyzes the representation of the playful style in e-sports interest-related culture,then analyzes the reasons of playful style and the process of its construction,and finally analyzes the meaning of the playful style in e-sports interest-related culture.The study finds that the e-sports interest-related culture shows the characteristics of entertainment and carnival on the surface.In terms of behavior,they use barrage and nicknames to tease people and things in e-sports,meanwhile,they spoof e-sports through the Internet.In terms of jargon,e-sports interest-related group adopt a set of slang words in the jargon,revealing a clear sense of ridicule in communication.The playful style in e-sports interest-related culture is closely related to the confusion caused by intergenerational differences and the anxiety caused by class differences.The negative emotions of confusion and anxiety prompt them to adjust their emotions through entertainment,which leads to the entertaining and playful cultural atmosphere in e-sports interest-related culture.The e-sports interest-related group use isomorphism to achieve the same entertainment awareness and playful style in online funny e-sports videos.They embezzle existing text symbols through collage,and form their own playful style in the reorganization of symbols.In addition,they evaluate people and things in e-sports through parody and borrowing other styles,which produces a contrasting teasing effect.The playful style of e-sports interest-related culture has two main meanings for the e-sports interest-related group: one is to project self through role substitution and empathy,and use e-sports teams or e-sports players to satisfy the needs of self-pleasure.The second is to alleviate the crisis of self-identity through group identification.They fight for the right to speak in the mainstream society with subcultural capital such as slang words,and to avoid social reality in the playful group carnival,which shows the effect of symbolic solution to group problems.The study is divided into four chapters.The first chapter sorts out the generation process and development background of e-sports interest-related culture.The second chapter analyzes the representation of playful style in e-sports interest-related culture,using virtual ethnography and text analysis to start from three aspects of sueface,behavior and jargon.The third chapter analyzes its origin and construction strategy on the basis of the playful style,and analyzes the formation path of the playful style through interview and text analysis.The fourth chapter discusses the meaning of esports interest-related culture from the reasons of playful style. |
