Objective: With the continuous in-depth development of modern education reform,the flipped classroom teaching model based on new media has received widespread attention from experts and scholars at home and abroad,and has played a significant role in the application effect of different disciplines.However,in the field of physical education teaching,there are relatively few related researches integrating flipped classroom teaching mode,and they mainly stay at the theoretical level.In order to effectively improve the training specifications of the school’s talent quality,the new teaching mode of flipped classroom should be further integrated with contemporary physical education.Based on practice,this study uses multimedia teaching courseware as the carrier,organizes the traditional teaching forms of basketball through Internet information technology,changes the teacher-centered teaching mode of "teaching" and "learning" into a new paradigm of student-centered teaching,and realizes the internalization of knowledge on the basis of independent inquiry.Makes up for the learners for technical action refinement,practice time is short,low rate of interaction between teachers and students,to cultivate learners’ learning fun and love sports movement tendency of taking part in physical exercise,promote the students’ sports ability,the development of the sports moral core literacy,for the future will flip the classroom teaching mode into the teaching of sports to provide certain reference significance.Methods: This study took the teaching effect of flipped classroom teaching mode in middle school basketball teaching as the research object,and 50 male students from two parallel classes of grade 3 and grade 4 in Grade8 in Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School as the research object,which were divided into flipped classroom class and traditional class.The experimental group and the control group were compared and analyzed in sports learning interest,basketball special content and physical quality indexes before and after the experiment by using the methods of questionnaire survey,experiment and mathematical statistics,to verify the effects of different teaching methods on basketball teaching,and finally draw conclusions and put forward corresponding suggestions for improvement.Results: There were significant differences(P < 0.05)between the flipped classroom class before and after the experiment in sports learning interest,basketball special content and physical quality.There was significant difference(P < 0.05)in basketball special content and physical quality index of students in traditional teaching class before and after the experiment,but no significant difference(P > 0.05)in sports interest before and after the experiment.By comparing and analyzing the teaching effects of flipped classroom class and traditional teaching class after the experiment,the results showed that the experimental class showed higher interest in PE learning,P < 0.05.In terms of basketball special content,the teaching effect of flipped class is better than that of traditional class,P < 0.05.In terms of physical fitness,there was no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class,P > 0.05.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The flipped classroom teaching mode not only improves students’ learning autonomy and inquiry,but also enriches physical education teaching methods and means,promotes the formation of students’ independent inquiry ability,effectively implements the teacher-led and student-centered position,which is conducive to the cultivation of students’ lifelong sports awareness.2.The flipped course teaching mode set according to students’ needs effectively integrates multimedia teaching resources with sports basketball teaching,which is more conducive to arousing students’ interest in learning basketball and improving their participation compared with the traditional learning mode.3.by turning the basketball class teaching not only can let learners in to watch the video on the basis of improving the understanding of basketball skills,at the same time can also break the time limit of the space,to enhance the effectiveness of learning,a more accurate mastery of difficult point,good for technical moves to finalize the design,so as to enhance students’ self-confidence,improve the teaching effect.4.Through the 12 weeks of basketball teaching experiment,the traditional teaching classes and flip classroom teaching classes within the group before and after the experiment teaching effect comparisons of basketball special content and physical aspects are significantly increased,and the teaching effect comparison between groups after the experiment test in the basketball class class content on flip show better optimal effect,physical quality had no significant difference.On the other hand,there is no significant difference between the traditional class and the flipped class in terms of PE learning interest.In terms of inter-group comparison,the flipped class has better PE learning interest than the traditional class.
