| After the implementation of the teacher performance pay policy in compulsory education schools,it has a significant role in promoting the management and motivation of teachers in China.Whether we can make good use of the teacher performance appraisal mechanism has an important impact on the quality improvement and vitality development of compulsory education schools in China,especially weak schools.Through questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates the current situation of teacher performance appraisal practice in M school,helps m school find the problems in teacher performance appraisal practice and puts forward suggestions for improvement.It has certain enlightenment for school administrators of similar weak schools in China to deepen their understanding of teacher performance appraisal and improve their ability of performance management.The research conclusions are as follows:The practice of M school teachers’ performance appraisal has certain positive effects:promoting the construction of M school teachers’ team,including high overall satisfaction of teachers,effectively stimulating teachers’ work enthusiasm and improving teachers’ professional level;Improve the efficiency and level of school management.The problems existing in the present situation of teacher performance appraisal in M school are as follows: the subject of performance appraisal is single;The performance appraisal scheme is not perfect enough;The performance appraisal is inclined to the administrative leadership.The main reason for the problems in the current situation of teacher performance appraisal in M school is that the teacher development function has not been put in the first place;Weak school weak school management foundation is limited;Performance control is not in place.It is suggested to improve from the following aspects: establish a correct concept of performance appraisal;Scientifically improve the teacher performance appraisal scheme;Strengthen the diversification of assessment subjects;Pay attention to and strengthen teacher performance training.The improvement in the above aspects plays an important role in the transformation and development of weak schools. |
