Resocialization: A Practical Study Of Social Work Intervention In The Employment Of Ex-offenders

Different from other social vulnerable groups receiving social assistance and public concern,released persons,as a special social vulnerable group,are often subjected to social exclusion and public hostility and indifference in their daily life.Long term social exclusion will lead to the release of prisoners become increasingly sensitive and inferiority complex,and serious cases will produce a psychological state of self exclusion.If these problems cannot be properly solved,there is a high probability that the released persons will have the idea of abandoning themselves,pick up the criminal psychology again,and finally lead to the failure of social integration.Employment is the foundation of people's livelihood and the most important aspect of obtaining economic sources in personal life.For those released from prison who have difficulties in life and challenges in social integration,timely employment after release from prison is an important basis for their re socialization and social adaptation.The service object h of this paper is a typical person released from prison.By using the theoretical basic knowledge of social work and various skills and methods in practice,the author has established a professional service relationship with the service object H.Through many interviews and the use of empathy and supportive skills,we have obtained the trust of the service object h to the author.On this basis,we further learned h's deep feelings and H's current views in the face of difficulties.Before his imprisonment,he was a "warm-hearted" man,but with the change of the attitude of his neighbors towards him after his release from prison,he began to fall into long-term self doubt and gradually developed a psychology of self exclusion.The author knows that in the process of providing professional social work services,changing the ideas of service objects is particularly important.We should believe that every service object has a bright spot and is full of potential,and we should run reasonable encouragement through the whole professional service process to help service object h regain confidence.In the process of carrying out the practice,under the early data collection and the investigation of the surrounding environment of the service object h,the author clarified his existing problems with the service object h,formulated a more detailed service plan,achieved the set overall goal in many interviews and service processes,helped the service object h solve the main problems he faced,and realized the relatively smooth process of re socialization of H.Finally,the author reflects and summarizes the service intervention process,hoping to provide some experience and suggestions for social work to intervene in the employment of released persons.
