The new curriculum reform requires teachers to develop school-based curricula as a supplement to the national curriculum to meet the needs of students’ individual development, but there are still many problems and difficulties in developing school-based curricula. For these reasons, the development of a curriculum that responds to children’s physical and mental developmental characteristics and guides the development and practice of school-based primary school mathematics programmes at the classroom level to improve children’s mathematical learning has become a valuable research topic under the new curriculum reform. The author compares the research results on the concept of "wise play" and"mini-curriculum",defines the nature and connotation of the concept of "wise play",and clarifies the specific "mini-curriculum" in this study. The nature and connotation of the concept of "wise play" are defined, and the specific meaning of"mini-curriculum" in this study is clarified.Based on empiricism, constructivism and Skilbeck’s environmental model theory, the scientific nature and superiority of using the concept of "wise play" as a curriculum development concept for the development of mini-curricula in primary school mathematics is clarified. The research findings of Wang Xiaofang,Huang Fuquan and Zeng Wenjie and Liu Suqin’s six-step design model for mini-curricula are combined to develop a model for the development, implementation and evaluation of mini-curricula in primary school mathematics based on the concept of "wise play".The author applies the questionnaire survey method, interview method and practical research method, relying on Nantong X School,to develop the curriculum, which consists of five parts:needs assessment, determination of objectives, curriculum organisation, curriculum implementation and evaluation and reflection, including "Do you really know triangles? It consists of three topics:"Do you really know triangles? The course was carried out in a class at X Primary School in Nantong and an evaluation system was established to evaluate the course content, the performance of teachers and students in the course of practice and the effectiveness of implementation, analyse the problems and make suggestions for improvement. The following conclusions were obtained:(1)This study provides some experience and lessons for the follow-up study of the mini-course in primary school mathematics, and has some reference value.(2)It can improve the current teaching and learning dilemma to a certain extent.(3)There are still shortcomings in various aspects of this study, which need to be improved and perfected. |
