Due to the development of science and technology and the expansion of rationalism,there was a brief period of separation between education and life in both China and the West in the 19 th century.In the midst of rapid economic,political,and cultural development,ideological and political education as a discipline gradually became standardized,but at the same time its instrumental value was overemphasized,which gave rise to a series of problems,and as the understanding deepened,people gradually realized that life was the fertile ground for ideological and political education to be effective.In such a development process,a large number of Chinese and foreign educational ideas have laid a solid theoretical foundation for the ideological and political education entry into daily life.In the past,the research on the ideological and political education entry into daily life tended to focus on the re-examination of the living world in the Western discourse system,but there are also ideological systems in China that emphasize the importance of living in education.Tao Xingzhi as an outstanding educational thinker in China,put forward the idea of “life and education”creatively in the struggle against traditional education and combined it with local practice,which still has great theoretical significance for exploring the return of ideological and political education entry into life today.To study the specific revelation of Tao Xingzhi's “life and education” thought to the living of ideological and political education,we need to have a perspective on its various fields,and build a communication platform for the two on the basis of a complete understanding of its theory.“life and education”,its kernel of Tao Xingzhi's thought,"life as education," "society as school," and "teaching as practice," provides a complete rationale for the construction of a life education model from ontology,place theory,and methodology respectively.The “life and education” thought is rooted in practice,and the feature of living,peoplehood,forward-looking and creative nature it shows can also bring corresponding inspiration for the ideological and political education entry into daily life.The ideological and political education is based on the correct understanding of the role of life,adhering to the value of people-oriented and giving full play to the positive role of ideological and political education in life.Tao Xingzhi's “life and education” thought and the ideological and political education are nearly the same in terms of educational objectives,methods and contents.In the face of the real dilemma of the ideological and political education,we should draw on the beneficial points of Tao Xingzhi's “life and education” thought,and carry out a series of reforms in terms of paying attention to educational objects,optimizing educational environment,strengthening educational subjects and improving educational contents,starting from the elements of ideological and political education itself.The main meaning of strengthening the educational subject is to strengthen the communication between the subject and the object;the main meaning of improving the educational content is to enhance the penetrating power of ideas,the affinity power of words and the explanatory power of contents.
