As an important thinking method of mathematics,the combination of numbers and shapes is of great significance in the whole stage of students' learning mathematics.The combination of numbers and shapes simplifies complex mathematical problems.Students can feel the rigor of mathematics when solving mathematical problems,which can develop their abstract thinking and image thinking.The combination of numbers and shapes is widely used in junior and senior high schools.It is necessary to lay a foundation for training students to flexibly apply the combination of numbers and shapes in senior primary schools.The investigation shows that there are still some problems in the practical teaching of the combination of numbers and shapes in senior primary school.Therefore,focusing on the application of the combination of numbers and shapes in the teaching of mathematics in primary schools,it is of great practical significance to use questionnaire and interview method to understand the application of numerical-shape combination thought to grade six students and teachers.Combining with the textbook of grade six of primary school,this paper adopts text analysis to analyze the thought of combining numbers and shapes from"helping numbers by shapes" and "solving shapes by numbers".This paper puts forward some suggestions for teachers to infiltrate the combination of numbers and shapes in teaching from theoretical and practical aspects,which combines with classroom teaching cases.According to research,there are some problems in infiltrating the thought of numeral-shape combination in teaching,such as incomplete understanding,inaccurate application time,imperfect application evaluation and limitation of teaching methods.Combining with classroom observation and interview,the main causes of these problems are as follows:teachers' backward teaching ideas and insufficient theoretical knowledge;lacking of targeted training and conditional support in schools;inadequate study of textbook knowledge related to numeral-shape combination when preparing lessons;the teaching ability of teachers,such as flexible use of multimedia technology,needs to be improved.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward the following improvement strategies for the application of the combination of numbers and shapes in teaching:strengthening theoretical learning and improving the understanding of combination of numbers and shapes;studying textbooks' combination of numbers and shapes knowledge and integrating them;improving the teaching method of numeral-shape combination according to students'characteristics;giving positive evaluation to encourage the application of the thought of numeral-shape combination.
