The popularization of the law is an important part of the comprehensive rule of law.It is an important part of the publicity and education of the rule of law in the education system to effectively improve the consciousness and initiative of teachers and students in studying the law,respecting the law,and abiding by the law in the new era.The reform of the textbook"Moral and Rule of Law" in junior high school puts forward new requirements and challenges to the quality of moral and legal teachers.Teachers are professionals engaged in education and teaching.Teachers' quality directly affects the quality of education and plays a vital role in the physical and mental development of teenagers.This requires junior high school moral and legal course teachers to strive to improve their legal literacy,to provide a strong guarantee for legal education and teaching.Therefore,it is of great significance and value to study the strategy of improving the legal literacy of the moral and legal teachers for the legal education and teaching.This paper through the questionnaire survey and individual interview research junior high school moral and rule of law teachers in law knowledge,legal consciousness,legal ability,legal belief and legal education teaching ability of five aspects,reflects the current junior high school moral and rule of law teachers' legal accomplishment has some good performance,but there are still some problems and deficiencies.Mainly reflected in the legal knowledge,legal practice ability and legal education classroom teaching and other aspects need to be strengthened;After the analysis,the results revealed that,The causes of the problems are both those of the teachers themselves,For example,some teachers' awareness of learning legal knowledge needs to improve and learn legal knowledge,The professionalism of ideological and political teachers in junior high school needs to be enhanced;There are also external reasons,For example,some schools do not pay enough attention to improving teachers' legal literacy.Based on these problems and reasons,Try to explore the countermeasures to improve the legal literacy of moral and legal teachers in junior high schools,Put forward the need to make concerted efforts from three aspects:society,school and teachers themselves.At the social level,we should strengthen the rule of law,improve the system of law,and enhance social resources.Schools should pay attention to teacher pre-service training,strengthen teacher legal education and training,improve teacher legal literacy evaluation mechanism,and create a campus legal culture environment.Teachers should take the initiative to expand legal knowledge;pay attention to legal politics and classic cases,select teaching methods to promote legal teaching;carry out legal education practice activities;and actively participate in legal teaching and research activities.These measures provide reference suggestions for improving the legal literacy of moral and law teachers and the effectiveness of law education and teaching.
