Research On The Behavior Of College Students Avoiding The Reverse Domestication Of Smart Phones

The development of smart phones and their penetration into human daily life have brought unprecedented convenience,reconstructed people's life scenes and changed people's life trajectories.However,scientific and technological progress and human development are a contradictory relationship that depends on each other.Human beings invented and created smart phones as a tool to "link" each other,and constantly domesticated media technology according to their own needs.With the deepening of the embedding of smart phones in human daily life,they are increasingly disciplining the main human beings in society with their technological logic structure,that is,realizing the "reverse domestication" of media technology to human beings.In the process of "reverse domestication",college students try to reduce or prevent the way of "reverse domestication" of smart phones through a series of behaviors,that is,to avoid the "reverse domestication" behavior of media.In this paper,by analyzing the representation of college students who are "reverse domesticated" by smart phones,and adopting the research method of grounded theory,we summarize the in-depth interview data to refine the influencing factors and build a theoretical model.It is found that with the advancement of the use of smart phones,college students' technical cognition,self-perception,external intervention and self-regulation have a direct impact on avoiding the "reverse domestication" of smart phones,and individual factors will have a moderating effect on the above four factors and indirectly affect their use behavior.Finally,through the analysis of influencing factors of college students' behavior of "reverse domestication" with smart phones and avoiding "reverse domestication",this paper puts forward optimization countermeasures for college students' behavior of using smart phones.This study starts from the perspective of college students as active audiences,and takes domestication theory as the basic framework,which makes communication and psychology,philosophy of technology,information science,sociology and other disciplines form the basis of dialogue and connection,and emphasizes the strategic use and consumption of media technology by people.People can misappropriate and embed technology at different stages according to their own life needs and media technology characteristics.This paper tries to balance the dominant position of digital logic and technical logic in the development process of college students since the rise of intelligent media,and arouse the thinking of human initiative under the structure of intelligent media technology.Taking smart phones as an example,it discusses the complex domestication relationship between media technology and people.
