A qualified teacher's career starts from the day when he or she chooses to stand on the platform and receive various kinds of challenges from surroundings and students.Therefore,all-around training plan plays a key part in supporting beginning teachers.Apart from promoting the professional growth of primary and secondary school beginning teachers,the development of teachers' initial training can implement the national policy of teacher staff construction.How to appropriately carry out training at preliminary stage of primary and secondary school teachers is directly related to the consistency and persistence of the construction of teaching faculty.Taking Pingjiang County,Yueyang City,Hunan Province as an example,this thesis intends to shed light on the current situation of the primary and secondary school teachers' initial training in this county,highlight the achievements of the local beginning teacher training,find out the noticeable problems in the training process and put forward some practical improving suggestions.In order to achieve above-mentioned purposes,the relevant authorities of Pingjiang Education Bureau,the vice principal of the advanced education school,the chief of some famous teacher studios,some school headmasters and many primary and secondary school teachers participated in tailored interviews.644 beginning teachers were investigated with a questionnaire,covering six dimensions of training cognition,training willingness,training organization,training content,training teachers and training evaluation.Through analyzing the questionnaire data,extracting the interview content,the experience and effectiveness of the initial training in Pingjiang county are summarized as follows: Pingjiang County Education Bureau attaches great importance to the construction of teachers' team,constructs a teacher training network covering the whole county,forms a relatively perfect teacher staff training ecology,and provides a replicable and popularized "Pingjiang teacher training pattern".In view of the training of primary and secondary school beginning teachers,the county makes full use of the policy advantages of national poor counties,builds a fixed training mode of beginning teachers based on national training,guides and perfects the specific content of the training of primary and secondary school beginning teachers by using the guide of new teachers' induction training;establishes famous teacher studios at the county level in the whole school section and all subjects to help the teachers to do a good job in school work performance.Although the training of primary and secondary school teachers in Pingjiang county has made remarkable achievements,the research finds that there are still some problems in the implementation of the initial training in Pingjiang County.Firstly,the cooperation between the training participants is not close enough.Secondly,the training content hasn't been specifically and thoughtfully arranged in accordance with actual needs and circumstances.Furthermore,the apprenticeship partnership system needs to be further standardized and improved.Last but not the least,the evaluation of training results is not specific and comprehensive.This thesis analyzes the reasons for the above problems,and brings forward feasible suggestions from the aspects of strengthening the cooperation of all parties involved in the training,arranging the training content of the initial teachers more reasonably,optimizing the scheme of the tutor system of the beginning teachers and perfecting the evaluation system of initial training.
