Research On Problem Chain Teaching Design For Cultivating Junior Middle School Students’ Mathematical Reasoning Ability

Abstract/Summary:
Mathematics is a subject that integrates logic and reasoning.Developing students’ mathematical reasoning ability is the premise and key to make students learn mathematics well.Mathematics classroom teaching has been responsible for the mission of cultivating students’ mathematical reasoning ability,but in the actual classroom,the teaching situation of mathematical reasoning ability is not optimistic.The reasons are,on the one hand,the difficulty of reasoning itself is large,the content is boring,students are easy to resist it,and the initiative of learning is poor.On the other hand,teachers say that it is difficult to find time to carry out targeted training of students’ mathematical reasoning ability,and they think that this training process is slow and complex,so far no effective teaching method has been found to apply to the training of students’ mathematical reasoning ability.This paper attempts to apply the "problem chain" teaching method to the teaching of mathematical reasoning in order to train students’ mathematical reasoning ability more effectively.This paper mainly adopts literature research method and interview survey method.First of all,the content of middle school mathematical reasoning,mainly including reasoning(including analogical reasoning and inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning,and the "chain" this concept is further defined as according to students’ cognition level and existing knowledge experience,teachers designed around teaching target,relatively independent and closely related problem of combination;Secondly,it is found that mathematical reasoning ability has the characteristics of high abstraction and logic,which is different from other knowledge-based content,so it is a major focus in junior middle school mathematics teaching,but also a major difficulty.Objects are divided into student and teacher interviews,interviews in order to understand the mathematical reasoning ability is the purpose of the current teaching situation,after investigation,the conclusion is: the teacher to cultivate junior middle school students mathematical reasoning ability teaching effect is not good,the lack of an effective teaching method to promote students’ mathematical reasoning ability to ascend.This paper holds that the use of "problem chain" teaching method can help to develop students’ mathematical reasoning ability.On this basis,the design principles and requirements of problem chain are summarized for cultivating junior middle school students’ mathematical reasoning ability.Finally,starting from the three concrete mathematical reasoning contents of analogy reasoning,inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning,the teaching design of problem chain is presented,and how to promote the students’ mathematical reasoning ability through the design of problem chain is further expounded.
