Improving the professional quality of the ideological and political teachers in high schools has greatly significance to achieve the goal of the new curriculum standard.In recent years,more and more people pay close attention to and has a research on the professional development of ideological and political teachers in high schools,promotes the research results.This paper focuses on six high schools in Yanjiang District,Ziyang City,and considers the ideological and political teachers as the research object,finding the following problems: the professional ideas need to be strengthened,professional knowledge is unreasonable,professional ability needs to be improved,job burnout and so on.The reasons include the teachers themselves,the society,the Department in charge of education,schools and other factors.In view of present situation,this paper gives the following solution measures:first and foremost,teachers should have themselves self-improved,the society should change attitude,the education department should pay more attention to Ideological and Political Course,the high schools should strengthen the curriculum construction.Specifically speaking,this paper mainly includes the following five chapters:Chapter one: Introduction.Through collecting,consulting and collating documents,this chapter expounds the background and significance,reviews the research at home and abroad,summarizes the main contents,key points and difficulties of the research,clears the train of thought and methods,puts forward the innovation and shortcomings.Chapter two: Explanation of the relevant theory on the professional development of ideological and political teachers in high schools.This chapter clarifies the connotation of teacher professional development and the grounded theory of this study,discusses the necessity of the research.Chapter three: Investigation and analysis of the current situation of the professional development of ideological and political teachers in high schools.This chapter explains the basic matter of the investigation and analyzes the achievements and problems the professional development of ideological and political teachers in high school,according to the survey results.Chapter four: Analysis of the factors what affect the professional development of ideological and political teachers in high schools.Based on the results of investigation and interview,this chapter attributes the cause to the teachers themselves,the high schools,the education department and the society.Chapter five: Measures for improving the professional development of ideological and political teachers in high schools.In accordance with last chapter,this chapter finds out the strategies to strengthen the professional development of ideological and political teachers in high schools.This paper starts with typical area and focuses on the achievements and problems of ideological and political teachers in high schools,hoping to further enrich the theory of he professional development of ideological and political teachers in high schools and providing some constructive suggestions for the teachers themselves,the society,the education department and the high schools.
