From the national needs of personnel training to the goal of curriculum reform,people have higher and higher requirements for social communication ability,which is an important condition for human beings to adapt to the requirements of social development.Adolescence is the golden age to improve students' social communication ability.Therefore,improving students' social communication ability is an important purpose to cultivate comprehensive talents.This study explored the influence of teaching methods on students' physical performance and social communication ability.By studying the literature and carrying out teaching practice,this paper makes a comparative study of stad mode(cooperative learning mode)and traditional teaching mode in physical education,and further analyzes the relationship between students' social communication ability and sports performance,which enriches the scope of this kind of research,and provides theoretical basis and specific cases for how to improve students' social communication ability in practical teaching reference resources.Based on quasi experimental method,this study selects senior one students of Fushan No.1 middle school as the experimental objects.The experimental class adopts the stad mode of teaching,while the control class adopts the traditional teaching mode,and controls the irrelevant variables to carry out the experiment.In the experiment,the paper introduces in detail the formation of experimental class group,the evaluation standard of group learning,teaching design and other cases of stad mode of physical education.The physical performance test indexes include throwing solid ball,standing long jump,single rope skipping and dribbling shot.The students' social communication ability is quantified by the social communication ability assessment scale for middle school students.After the experiment,the physical performance and social communication ability of the two groups were compared,and the correlation between the physical performance and social communication ability was analyzed,and the research content was confirmed by student interviews.The conclusions are as follows:1.After the experiment,there was no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class except for the score of throwing solid ball in front;the scores of standing long jump and single rope skipping were p < 0.05,The results were significantly higher than that of the control class;the score of dribbling and shooting was p < 0.01,which was significantly higher than that of the control class;and the improvement of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class.2.In the comparison of the influence of stad mode physical education and traditional physical education on middle school students' social communication ability,there is no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class after the experiment except for the social cognitive ability;the self-monitoring ability and interpersonal management ability are significantly higher than the control class(P< 0.05);the interpersonal communication ability and the ability to solve social problems are significantly higher than the control class(P < 0.01).And after the experiment,the improvement range of each dimension of the social communication ability of the experimental class is larger than that of the control class.The suggestions are as follows:1.In the analysis of the influence of stad mode physical education and traditional physical education on the correlation between middle school students' social communication ability and physical performance,there is a strong positive correlation between the experimental class students' social communication ability and physical performance after the experiment,which is stronger than the correlation between the control class students' social communication ability and physical performance.It is suggested that teachers should change their roles and highlight the dominant position of students.2.According to the teaching conditions and contents,teachers should choose the teaching form reasonably.3.Teaching task is the most important foundation,in addition to this,we should improve students' Ideological and political education.4.Improve students' participation in group learning,and actively guide to carry out group learning exercise after class.
