The Construction And Criticism Of Female Body Consumption In Reality Shows Of Talent Shows

With the arrival of the era of consumption system,everything has become as goods,and its ultimate purpose is to be consumed,even if it is the personal body.Due to the dominance of mass media and consumerism,the female body is gradually falling into the new consumption system.With vivid and intuitive features,talent shows highlights women's body as the core goods in the programs to be consumed,which promote the phenomenon of female body consumption to become increasingly fierce.Therefore,it is highly important to carry out the research concerned with the female body consumption phenomenon in talent shows.We regard two talent shows “Sisters Who Brave the Winds and Waves” and "Creating Camp 2020" as the research object.Firstly,through the text analysis and symbolic analysis method,we aim to figure out the construction mode of women body consuming concepts.Secondly,based on the comparative analysis of the two programs,the mechanism of female body consumption in the program is concluded.Finally,based on the female body consumption tendency in the talent show,the author puts forward his own critical view.The author thinks that the excessive female body consumption tendency in the talent show brings the general body anxiety problem of the current society women,and many women fall into the aesthetic misunderstanding.In today's general pursuit of feminism,part of women's subject consciousness is gradually losing;The female body became a symbol of entertainment and lost its true meaning.
