| Mathematics application consciousness is one of the core concepts in the"Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as"Standards").It is one of the training goals that cannot be ignored in the new round of mathematics curriculum reform.Cultivating students’consciousness of mathematics application is conducive to improving the current talent training structure that is short of applied talents,and better exerting the function of education in serving the economy and society.Especially in our country,the primary and secondary school students’mathematics application consciousness is generally weak,we should pay more attention to the cultivation of students’mathematics application consciousness.From the perspective of"promoting construction by evaluation",this research constructs a model for evaluating pupils’mathematics application consciousness,diagnoses the status quo of students’mathematics application consciousness,and provides feedback information for the training link,so that educators can cultivate students’mathematics application consciousness in a more targeted manner.This paper comprehensively uses literature research,text analysis,questionnaire survey,statistical analysis and other methods,and draws on the existing domestic elementary education measurement model to build ideas.The research idea is determined as follows:(1)clarify the operational definition of the primary school students’mathematical application consciousness;(2)construct the measurement index system of the primary school students’mathematics application consciousness;(3)construct the mathematics application consciousness measurement model of primary school students;(4)verify the measurement model of the primary school students’mathematics application consciousness.The research process and conclusion are as follows:First,the definition of the operational of the primary school students’mathematical application consciousness is clarified.Through the analysis of academic literature,curriculum standards,mathematics teaching materials and expert interviews,this paper analyzes the connotation and behavior of primary school students’mathematics application consciousness,and on this basis,defines the operational definition of primary school students’mathematics application consciousness.Second,constructing the measurement index system of primary school students’mathematics application consciousness.According to the operational definition,the measurement index is initially prepared.Based on this,a test tool is developed.Through two exploratory factor analysis,the factor structure is basically stable.Finally,the measurement index system of primary school students’mathematics application consciousness is determined,including three primary indicators and 10 secondary indicators.The three primary indicators are:to understand the surrounding things from the mathematical perspective,to explain the problems from the mathematical perspective,and to solve the problems from the mathematical point of view.Third,constructing the measurement model of mathematics application consciousness of primary school students.This study uses the method of"using the objective valuation method to establish the index weight,and then carry on the expert verification"to get the primary school students’mathematics application consciousness measurement model:(4=0.3(31+0.3(32+0.4(33,where(31 represents understanding the surrounding things from the mathematical point of view,(32represents the interpretation of the problem from a mathematical point of view,(33represents solving problems from a mathematical point of view.Fourth,the measurement model of the primary school students’mathematics application consciousness is verified.This study verifies the model from three aspects,which are data-based verification,expert based verification,and practical application based verification.The results show that the model has a good fit with the data,expert recognition is high,and the students’test results are in line with the reality.In this study,the measurement model of primary school students’mathematics application consciousness is constructed for the first time.The study focuses on the construction and verification of the measurement model of primary school students’mathematics application consciousness,and the difficulty lies in the construction of the measurement index system of primary school students’mathematics application consciousness and the development and compilation of test tools.However,due to the length of the study and individual research ability and level,the sample size and scope of this study are relatively limited,and the independence of the measurement indicators and the reliability and validity of the test tools need to be further improved. |
