As mathematical culture develops continuously and international mathematical education reforms advance gradually,mathematical culture has been deeply concerned in the new round of mathematical curriculum reform and appeared in the mathematical curriculum standards.At present,mathematical culture enters the vision of school education mainly through the national mathematical curriculum infiltration and school-based curriculum development,Among which,the infiltration of mathematical culture in the national mathematical curriculum is relatively limited,the School-based curriculum of mathematical culture can provide an effective space for the enrichment and expansion of it,but still in the period of theoretical and practical search.Therefore,how to develop the school-based mathematical culture has become an imperative question to be settled.As a global educational strategy in the innovative development of present and future,the background of STEAM education which has merged science,technology and humanity agrees with the propose of mathematical culture.Mathematical culture can be said to be a kind of mathematics-centered STEAM education integrated with other subjects and life content in the form of contexts,materials and activities.Therefore,remolding the definition and feature of the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools from STEAM educational concept,constructing relevant technical routes,and carrying out the practice of specific curriculum and teaching cases,which have the superiority to bring STEAM educational concept to mathematical ground,form the experience for cultivating student's mathematical literacy synthetically and developing discipline-oriented integration constantly.The whole articles are constructed with six section.The first section is the preface,which discuss the derivation of the study from the growing trend of STEAM education,the direction of mathematical curriculum reform,the current school-based curriculum development problem of mathematical culture in primary schools,and the relationship between STEAM educational concept and mathematical culture.Then,the significance and core concepts of the research is clarified.Further,it summarized and reviewed the literatures of school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture,STEAM education,and the integration of the STEAM educational concept into the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture.Finally,it discusses the theoretical foundation and research design in detail.The second section is the current situation and problem analysis of the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools,mainly through interviews and questionnaire surveys to obtain information and data.Then,it starts from the development overview,target orientation,resource integration,structure arrangement and specific implementation of the school-based curriculum of mathematical culture in primary schools to pave the way for the subsequent discussion of value and feasibility.The third section assimilated into STEAM educational concept is used to analyze the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools about the value and feasibility.On the one hand,it mainly discusses the value of school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools under the STEAM education concept from the existing problems of school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools.On the other hand,it mainly demonstrates the feasibility of the combination of the two things to solve the problem of "why" starting from the educational objectives,content and process.The fourth section is the analysis of the connotation and characteristics of the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools under the STEAM educational concept,aiming to clarify the mathematical culture under the STEAM educational concept,the school-based curriculum of mathematical culture under the STEAM educational concept and the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools under the STEAM educational concept.on the one hand,it makes a detailed distinction between the mathematical sub-curriculum,the school-based curriculum of mathematical culture,the school-based curriculum of mathematical culture under the STEAM educational concept and STEAM curriculum.on the other hand,it further clarifies the characteristics of school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools under the STEAM education concept mainly from contents,contexts,activities and subjects to solve the problem of "what".The fifth section is to construct the technical routes of the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools under the STEAM educational concept,which starts from the principles,goals,content,implementation and procedures.The goal part is divided into establishment basis and requirements to provide general direction guidance.The content is distinguished into content selection and organization.Then,the content selection is further composed of principles,sources and frameworks,content organization further consist of orientation,structure and process to carry out layers of refinement and implement operational technical guidance.Finally,it presents the main procedures of the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools under the STEAM educational concept to solve the problem of "how to do it theoretically".The sixth section exists the cases and practices of it,mainly relying on the theory of the fifth part and the Z primary school to carry out two topic curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools of "Wonderful Time" and "Water World".They are developed to present specific development cases,and select partial teaching cases for application and feedback to solve the problem of "how to do it in practice".All in all,the essay theoretically takes STEAM educational concept as the field of vision,reshapes the connotation and characteristics of the school-based curriculum development of mathematical culture in primary schools,constructs relevant technical routes,provide some theoretical guidance for primary schools and mathematical teachers to develop the school-based curriculum of mathematical culture.In practice,it promotes primary school and math teachers to develop them from the perspective of STEAM educational concept,form the characteristics of school curriculum,and boost the comprehensive cultivation of student's mathematical literacy and carry forward mathematical culture.
