In 2017,the Ministry of Education reformed the curriculum standards and promulgated the "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards." The requirements for students’ practice in the "Standards" include: pay close attention to the practical experience of students in the learning process,allow students to actively participate in hands-on and brainstorming activities,and improve the ability to apply knowledge and cultivate innovation through exploratory learning activities or completing engineering tasks.spirit.Through innovative experimental teaching mode,mobilize high school students’ biological inquiry interest and exploration ability,activate innovative thinking and developmental thinking,and cultivate students’ innovative abilities,which can improve students’ abilities of analysis,expression,social communication,etc.,and even affect students lifetime.However,in actual teaching,Wuzhong Huimin Middle School teachers’ thoughts of emphasizing knowledge over abilities are more serious,which restricts the development of students’ innovative abilities.Based on the important value of cultivating students’ innovative ability and combining with the status quo of biology experiment teaching in Wuzhong Huimin Middle School,this article proposes teaching strategies for cultivating innovative ability in biology experiment teaching,and apply it to practical teaching.This research starts with the cultivation of innovation ability,and understands the current research status of innovation ability cultivation at home and abroad through literature search and reading,and is based on biological experiment teaching.Through a questionnaire survey of high school students at Wuzhong Huimin Senior High School in Wuzhong City,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,it was found that students’ attitudes towards biological experiments are positive,but they will be affected by the school’s attitude towards experimental classes.The school’s complete laboratory and sufficient experimental equipment can ensure the normal development of most experiments.However,because the laboratory is not free and open,students rarely have access to biological experiments except for experimental teaching.Students are good at observing and have a strong thirst for new things.However,due to the constraints of the current school’s traditional teaching model,under the traditional education model,students blindly carry out receptive learning in the classroom,ignoring the learning of mutual exchanges and discussions.The method leads to the weak ability of students to discuss and communicate with each other,to operate experiments,to scientifically explore experiments,and to innovate.Through action research,analyze the Biology Curriculum Standards for regular high schools,the Biology Syllabus for full-time regular high schools,the Biology Examination Syllabus for the National Unified Enrollment Examination for Regular Colleges and Universities,the Overall Plan for Educational Reform in the New Era,and Wu Zhong Huimin The status quo of biology experiment teaching in middle schools proposes experimental teaching strategies to cultivate innovative ability:(1)Change educational concepts and enhance innovative thinking;(2)Innovate teaching methods,changing demonstration experiments into exploratory experiments;(3)Changing learning methods,Cultivate innovation ability;(4)Expand extracurricular experimental teaching to cultivate students’ innovation ability;(5)Build a multi-evaluation system to cultivate innovation ability.Finally,through the educational practice method in accordance with the proposed experimental teaching strategy for educational teaching practice,the two classes before and after the experiment are compared with the students’ performance,innovation ability,and hands-on ability,and the differences are analyzed to prove that the experimental teaching strategy is effective.
