In recent years,China has made remarkable achievements in various fields,and the society has higher requirements for personnel quality.In order to train excellent talents to adapt to the fast-paced social life and promote the all-round development of students,it is extremely urgent for schools to improve students' key competences in daily education.The improvement of students' key competences depends on daily teaching of each subject.According to the chemical characteristics of the development,chemical key competences are parts of the key competences,which point out the goal and the direction for chemistry teaching.In addition to the knowledge required by the curriculum standard,chemical key competences require to help students improve their abilities,form concepts,understand chemical values and cultivate scientific spirits.Junior high school chemistry is the "outpost" for students to learn chemistry,which is the important part to improve students' key competences.The teaching mode of learning before teaching is not only conducive to improving classroom efficiency,but also conducive to improving students' self-learning ability and cognitive level,which is helpful to the improvement of students' key competences of Chemistry.On the learning theory of constructivism,humanism under the guiding ideology,and through the questionnaire to understand the basic situation of chemical key competences,I analyzed the students' learning situation,constructed the implementation plan,matter for attention and principle to be followed in each link of the teaching design,then designed the general idea of instructional design based on learning before teaching to cultivate the chemical key competences.On this basis,I wrote five teaching design cases of different course types,including "The Structure of Atom","Simple Calculation Using Chemical Formula","Research on the Preparation of Carbon Dioxide","Chemical Properties of Metals" and "Inference of Acid,Base and Salt".In each teaching design,the learning situation and teaching materials are analyzed in detail,and each design is carried out in five aspects: teaching objectives,teaching key and difficult points,teaching process,guiding learning case and learning evaluation.After the implementation,the whole teaching process is reflected.Through the comparative analysis of the data obtained from the written examination and questionnaire,it is found that the key competences of chemistry of excellent students and medium students have been significantly improved after the teaching mode of "learning before teaching".
