With the implementation of the three-level curriculum management system in China,schools and teachers have obtained the right to develop curriculum and become the developers and implementers of school-based curriculum.Compared with the national curriculum,the content of school-based curriculum pays more attention to individuality and local characteristics.The development of school-based curriculum based on the central plain culture will produce many good results.Firstly,it is conducive to the understanding of the regional culture for the students and is helpful to experience the charm of the History.Secondly,it contributes to the implementation of the core literacy of the subject and promotes the all-around development of the students.Lastly,it enhances their self-confidence and sense of identification with excellent traditional culture,thus facilitating the inheritance and development of excellent central plain culture.In recent years,many achievements have been made in the research of school-based curriculum development of high school,and many scholars have designed school-based curriculum with the integration of regional culture,and explored the relationship between the two.However,there have been few results of research and design of school-based curriculum of high school which are based on the combination of central plain culture and History.Hence,the obvious innovation in this study based on central plain culture lies in designing a school-based curriculum suitable for high schools through combining History.Additionally,it will analyze and summarize the problems encountered in the practice of curriculum development.Hopefully,it will serve as a reference for later researchers and make up for the gaps in related research.In this study,the author adopts the literature method and comprehensively utilizes books,periodicals,local chronicles,and online museums to sort out the resources related to the central plain culture necessary for this research.Besides,with a school-based curriculum “Central Plains Scenic Spots and Historic Sites” developed and practiced by the author as the main research object,relevant conclusions about the school-based curriculum development based on the central plain culture will be drawn by means of the case study method.Last,the author will employ the survey method to make evaluations in many ways of all developed school-based curriculum,so obtaining effective information.The thesis is divided into four parts:Part?: Introduction,explaining the reason for research topic and its significance,the previous research results and related concepts,clarifying the innovation points and research methods,and drawing the research sketch.Part ?: Sorting out and developing the relevant resources of the school-based curriculum based on central plain culture.First,it is clear that for the choice and using of the rich central plain cultural resources,it should be based on the principles of geography,discipline,integration,practicality,and internalization.Secondly,the relevant resources used in the process of curriculum development should be summarized and integrated from such aspects as the sources of civilization,cultural classics,cultural celebrities,and cultural creation,so as to lay the foundation for the development of subsequent curriculum.Part ?: Developing a school-based curriculum as a case — “Central Plains Scenic Spots and Historic Sites” based on central plain culture.From the aspects of curriculum characteristics,curriculum objectives,curriculum structure,teaching cases,and curriculum evaluation,the development and practice of the curriculum are carried out.It is hoped that some experience and reference can be provided for the development of the subsequent curriculum concerned.Part ?: Conclusions and prospects,with the help of the development and practice of school-based curriculum of high school based on central plain culture,it is proved that the development of the curriculum of this kind is feasible.Furthermore,the part will look ahead to the later development of the school-based curriculum based on central plain culture from the aspects of teachers,schools,and teaching platforms.This study is expected to offer a reference for subsequent school-based curriculum based on central plain culture and regional culture,and to contribute to the inheritance and development of central plain culture in the new era.
