By using the methods of Literature Review,field investigation,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,this paper makes an analysis and research on the present situation of physical education in 8 primary schools in the rural Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Barkam,this paper analyzes the problems encountered in the course of carrying out the physical education curriculum in rural primary schools and the experiences worth learning,finds out the main factors that affect the carrying out of the Physical Education Curriculum in rural primary schools,and correspondingly puts forward constructive suggestions and countermeasures,it is hoped that the research results of this paper can provide a reference for the rapid development of physical education in rural primary schools in Barkam,and also provide some experience for the improvement of physical education in rural schools in China.The following conclusions are drawn from the investigation:(1)the Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture Barkam is responding to the national policy and is gradually moving towards standardization and diversification,but is restricted by the regional economic,environmental and educational resources allocation,the development of the Physical Education Curriculum in most schools is slow.(2)the students have a high enthusiasm for the study of physical education,but the occupation of physical education is outstanding and can not meet the needs of the students for the Study of sports knowledge.(3)the number of physical education teachers in most schools is insufficient,and the executive ability of physical education teachers to classroom routine is insufficient.(4)the rural primary schools lack of funds and sports equipment and facilities can not meet the needs of students.(5)most of the schools have relatively single sports in physical education,and only some schools have set up sports with regional characteristics and traditional ethnic sports.
