Chinese traditional gender cultural concept has affected the economic and social development for thousands of years, and also made the "male dominated outside, female dominated inside" gender role division mode continue to this day. However, with the strong support of gender equality in economy, education, health and politics, this mode of division of labor has been gradually broken.Although the gender gap has obviously improved and developed, there are still differences in gender, age and urban and rural areas, especially in China’s urban and rural areas. This kind of personal cognition of gender concept not only leads to conflicts in the field of work and family, but also indirectly affects personal subjective well-being.Based on this, this paper uses the data of China Comprehensive Social Survey(CGSS)in 2015,using the method of factor analysis and OLS analysis, from the perspective of gender, age, urban and rural areas under the Chinese background, mainly explores the impact of gender concept on work family two-way conflict(WIF and FIW),and compares and analyzes the differences between different gender, age, urban and rural groups,Secondly,it focuses on the relationship between family income, job stress, job flexibility and work family conflict. The method of dominion analysis proposed by buedssu(1993)is used as the robustness test to verify the accuracy and importance of the above empirical results. The empirical results show that the lower the work to family conflict(WIF)and family to work conflict(FIW)values of individuals with more unequal gender concepts, which exist in both sexes, high age workers and urban and rural areas.Women with more equal gender concepts feel more work to family conflict(WIF),while men feel the opposite,The more equal the gender concept is,the more conflict between family and work(FIW)men feel. With the spread and development of the concept of gender equality in China, workers under the age of 30 are more likely to accept the concept of gender equality. Therefore, the concept of gender equality can reduce the work family conflict that individuals face.At the same time,it can make individuals better balance work family interference. On the contrary, the more equal the gender concept of workers over 30 years old,the higher their work family conflict(WIF)and family work conflict(FIW)values. In the urban-rural group,it is found that gender inequality will still alleviate the conflict between WIF and FIW,especially in rural areas where workers hold more equal gender concepts and face more work family conflicts; The impact of family income on work family conflict presents an inverted U-shaped distribution, that is,the higher the family income, the more work family conflict increases. When the income reaches a certain threshold, the higher the family income, the less work family conflict, especially for WIF of women,WIF and FIW of 18-30 age group and wif of urban group; With the development of China’s economy and society, the work pressure of workers is the most important factor causing the work family conflict; It is difficult to ease the conflict between personal work and family whether the form of work is flexible or not. Finally, according to the empirical conclusion, this paper provides decision-making reference for the government to solve the work family conflict problem and improve the individual subjective well-being. |
