Since ancient times,our country has had the tradition of teachers to discipline students.However,when faced with students' violations of discipline,some teachers worry that excessive discipline will be held accountable by their parents or the school,so they abandon the power of discipline;some teachers abuse educational discipline,causing corporal punishment or disguised corporal punishment of students,which harms students physical and mental health.In recent years,some education policy documents have re-made regulations and instructions on teachers' educational discipline.The rules strive to ensure and standardize schools and teachers in performing their education,teaching and management duties in accordance with the law.At the same time,it promotes students' healthy growth and overall development.The elementary school stage is an important stage for children's physical and mental development and the formation of behavior habits.Therefore,it is extremely important for teachers to regulate and implement the right of education punishment in a reasonable manner for the development of good behaviors and habits of primary school students.In summary,the research on the implementation of educational punishment power of primary school teachers has theoretical and practical significance.This research mainly used three important methods,namely the literature method,the questionnaire survey method and the interview method to investigate the current situation of enforcement of educational disciplinary power by primary school teachers.First of all,based on the "Rules of Educational Discipline for Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial)" issued by the Ministry of Education,this article summarized and combed the relevant literature,that helped it to determine the content of the investigation of the institute and compile a questionnaire.Secondly,a self-compiled questionnaire was used to investigate the current situation of elementary school teachers in S district of Chongqing on the implementation of the right of educational punishment.Then,using SPSS24.0 to sort out and analyze the questionnaire,and explore the causes of the survey results.Finally,the interview method was used to further corroborate the cause.After discussing the problems and reasons in the investigation results,corresponding suggestions are made.This study draws the following conclusions: First,the overall situation of primary school teachers' implementation of the right of educational punishment is good,but there are certain randomness and corporal punishment in the implementation process.Therefore,its implementation effect needs to be improved.Second,young teachers' implementation methods are biased.Finally,the overall situation of rural teachers and teachers with low professional titles in enforcing the power of educational punishment is relatively unsatisfactory.Based on the analysis and discussion of the research results,the recommendations of this research are as follows: First of all,in terms of overall improvement,we need to clarify the basis for teachers to implement educational discipline while improving school discipline and class rules.Secondly,we should improve the school governance system to ensure the orderly conduct of education and discipline.Thirdly,a variety of methods are used simultaneously to enhance the effect of teachers' power to implement educational discipline.In addition,we should also improve the relevant training system to optimize the way young teachers implement the right of educational punishment;Furthermore,we must realize the combination of internal correction and external training,which will improve the overall situation of rural teachers' enforcement of the right to education and discipline.Moreover,the regional teacher development mechanism should be improved,which can improve the overall situation of teachers with low professional titles in the implementation of educational punishment powers.
