The new college entrance examination reform was launched in 2018,and Chongqing is one of the pilot cities.The "3+1+2" model is adopted to provide students with more choices and pay more attention to the development of students' personality.However,in the process of implementing the reform,chemistry teaching in high schools in Chongqing has been affected to different degrees.In order to understand the influencing factors of students' choice of chemistry subject,an investigation was made on 4 schools in a district of chongqing to understand students' choice of chemistry subject in detail,and put forward some suggestions for more scientific choice of chemistry subject.This paper mainly adopts four research methods: literature research method,interview method and investigation method.On the basis of consulting relevant literature,combined with the opinions of experts and front-line teachers,the questionnaire and interview outline were formulated.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 970 senior high school students from 4 different types of high schools in a district of Chongqing.Ten frontline teachers and students at different levels from 4 different types of high schools in a district of Chongqing were interviewed.The results show that :(1)the chemistry career development of senior high school students is not ideal;(2)The new college entrance examination reform plan is not fully understood,and there is blindness in choosing chemistry test;(3)High school students do not know enough about chemistry;(4)The number of chemical subjects decreased.Then,based on the above problems,the reasons for the problems are analyzed from the aspects of teachers,parents,schools and themselves.Based on the analysis results and combining the author's teaching experience and high school chemistry teaching rules,the author puts forward some suggestions to promote the "3+1+2" mode of chemical science selection in the new college entrance examination.And from the subject,student,teacher,school four levels of the solution measures.Finally,the summary and prospect are put forward.The conclusion of this study is discussed,and the shortcomings of this study and the prospect of this study are put forward.
