In order to improve the situation of "over-enrollment and structural imbalance" and "unable to get down,stay and teach well" of primary school teachers and promote the balanced development of education,The practice of cultivating primary school general teachers has been supported by relevant policies from the national level,local level and governments at all levels.Some provinces and cities have carried out practical exploration in the training of general subjects teachers in primary schools,such as Hunan,Jiangsu and Chongqing.At present,the study of primary school general teachers has become a hot topic in China's teacher education research.The research mainly focuses on the definition of the concept,the necessity of training,the mode of training,the status quo of training and so on.There are few studies on the professional development of primary school general teachers.Only by fully understanding the current situation and influencing factors of the professional development of primary school general teachers can the professional development of primary school general teachers be promoted.This study adopts the form of questionnaire survey and interview to study the professional development status and influencing factors of the primary school general teachers who graduated from XX Normal University in 2017 and 2018.Firstly,three different teacher professional development theories with different orientations are sorted out to provide theoretical support for the design of the questionnaire and the proposal of suggestions.On this basis,the Questionnaire on the Status Quo and Influencing Factors of Professional Development of Primary School General Teachers and the Interview Outline on Professional Development of Primary School General Teachers were designed.Among them,the survey on professional development of primary school general teachers is mainly carried out through the following four dimensions:Professional belief,professional knowledge,professional ability,professional attitude and motivation.The influence factors are analyzed from two aspects:internal factors and external factors.The questionnaire survey was carried out by relying on "Questionnaire Star",and 210 valid questionnaires were obtained.Ten primary school general teachers were interviewed face to face and by telephone.Then,through the questionnaire survey,the data of the status quo and influencing factors of the professional development of primary school general teachers were obtained.Combined with the content of the interview,the data analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of the professional development of primary school teachers was conducted.On the basis of empirical research,the following conclusions are drawn: the professional development status of primary school general teachers is good on the whole,but there are still some deficiencies;There are group differences in the professional development of primary school general teachers.At present,the professional development of primary school general teachers is greatly affected by both internal and external factors;There is no group difference in the influencing factors of professional development of primary school general teachers.Finally,according to the conclusions of the survey and interview,several suggestions are put forward from the following aspects: primary school general teachers themselves need to make efforts;Primary schools should improve the corresponding mechanism to help the professional development of primary school general teachers;The government and relevant educational administrative departments should give policy support;Colleges and universities should further reform the training mode of primary school general teachers.
