The period of the Republic of China,as a short but significant special historical period in Chinese history,was a crucial period in the transition of Chinese educational development from tradition to modernization,under the influence of Western educational thoughts,the compilation of textbooks in this period became more and more mature.Based on the Chinese textbooks for Middle Schools in the Republic of China from 1912 to 1949(including reading textbooks and normal school textbooks),this paper studies the selection and compilation of the works of female writers in the Chinese textbooks for Middle Schools in the Republic of China.As the bearer and spokesman of the mainstream culture and values of society,textbooks and their contents not only transmit knowledge and spread civilization,but also have the functions of highlighting ideology,spreading values,knowledge and cultural reproduction,therefore,from the point of view of Chinese textbooks for Middle Schools in the Republic of China,this paper studies the selection and compilation of female writers' works in Chinese textbooks for Middle Schools in the Republic of China,we can get a general idea of the survival state of female writers' works in the Middle School Chinese textbooks of the Republic of China.In view of this,I through Southwest University Library Collection Resources and the National Library of China.The document database of the National Digital Library of China during the Republic of China searched the middle school Chinese textbooks,reading textbooks and normal school textbooks during the Republic of China period,and collected 119 teaching materials,this paper analyzes the selection and compilation of female writers' works,the causes of imbalance and the value of the selection.This paper mainly consists of five parts:Chapter one:introduction.This paper mainly introduces the origin and significance of research,literature review,main research contents and methods,as well as research difficulties and innovative points.Chapter two:the selection and compilation of the works of female writers.This chapter mainly includes three sections: chapter one combs and collects 119 Chinese textbooks in middle schools during the Republic of China,but not all 119 textbooks contain selected works of female writers,therefore,in this section,56 textbooks with works by women writers and 63 textbooks without works by women writers are classified;in the Second Section,divided into "Early Republic of China Period","new school system period","curriculum standard period" and "national custom-made period" and other four periods,56 textbooks selected and edited by women writers were sorted out,this paper mainly analyzes the representative textbooks with the works of female writers selected from the Chinese textbooks for Middle Schools in the Republic of China period,and the writers and their works selected in the front ranks in number and frequency,and the Republic of China period and the ancient representative of women's teaching materials were compared.Chapter three:the analysis of the characteristics and imbalance of the female writers' works in the Middle School Chinese textbooks of the Republic of China.This chapter is divided into five sections to discuss the characteristics of the selected works of female writers in the Chinese textbooks for middle schools in the Republic of China in the aspects of selection and compilation principles,themes,styles and reading aid system,on this basis,the author analyzes the causes of the above-mentioned theme,Style and help-reading system,and finally analyzes the main reasons that lead to the imbalance of the female writers' works in the Republic of China period in the selection of Chinese textbooks.Chapter four: the analysis of the educational value of female writers' works.The female writers' works in the textbooks have great educational value in many aspects,such as cultivating students' Chinese accomplishment,cultivating students' values and so on,especially in the cultivation of gender consciousness and promotion of gender liberation,in addition,the works of women writers into the Middle School Language Teaching Materials in the Republic of China this special historical period also has its special time value.Therefore,this chapter is divided into three sections: The value of cultivating gender consciousness,the value of promoting gender equality and the value of special times.Conclusion:conclusion is the summary and reflection of the research content of this paper.Through the collation,statistics and analysis of the selected works of women writers in the Chinese textbooks for Middle Schools during the Republic of China period,we can roughly grasp the situation of the selected works of women writers in the Chinese textbooks for middle schools during the Republic of China period,it is also helpful to explore the acceptance of women writers' works in the field of education,and to see the changes of women's roles and positions in the course of social development.At the same time,I hope the research content of this paper can more or less make some supplement to the past research,and cause the thinking of the gender difference in the teaching material.
