The General Senior Secondary Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)states that the geography curriculum is designed to develop students' geography key competencies and encourages localities to develop local and school-based curricula to meet the needs of student interest development and individualized development.Native geography education is of great significance in improving students' geography practice ability,cultivating students' love for their hometown,enhancing the professionalism of geography teachers and enriching the resources of native geography curriculum.Yuncheng Salt Lake has received much attention for its historical value and resource properties,and no applicable vernacular geography curriculum.Therefore,the research in this paper is of great practical significance for the development of local geography curriculum resources in Yuncheng Salt Lake and promoting local geography teaching.This paper takes the Salt Lake of Yuncheng as the main research area,and integrates literature research and field survey methods to collate and summarise the unique native geographic resources of the Salt Lake of Yuncheng: the superior geographical location,the peculiar salt lake landscape,the magnificent water conservancy engineering,the advanced salt production technology and the unique biological resources.In order to understand the development and application of native geography resources in Yanhu,this paper analyses the teaching of native geography in four secondary schools with the help of questionnaires and finds the following problems: access to native geography information is narrow,access varies greatly between teachers and students,and content preferences differ;the degree of development of native geography curriculum resources is low,and there are obvious differences in the degree of familiarity with native geography between new and old teachers,and young teachers lack The teachers' application of local geography curriculum resources is in a single form,which cannot meet the diversified learning demands of students;the school attaches insufficient importance to the development of local geography curriculum resources,lacks co-ordination arrangements,and teachers are not active in research.Salt Lake is rich in vernacular geography curriculum resources,teachers should fully grasp and constantly enrich the connotation and form of vernacular geography curriculum.Accordingly,the author proposes ways to apply the resources of the vernacular geography curriculum: writing vernacular geography school-based teaching materials,preparing vernacular geography test questions,carrying out research study activities and establishing a vernacular geography resource bank.In order to better integrate vernacular geography curriculum resources into teaching,the author has prepared corresponding teaching cases around the causes of salt lakes,water conservancy projects and resource development.In order to better integrate the local geographic resources of Salt Lake into teaching,the author has prepared corresponding teaching cases based on the causes of Salt Lake,water engineering and resource development.The aim is to enrich the content of local geography teaching and to cultivate students' love for their hometown.
