Sudden injuries caused by traffic accidents are fierce and complex, and have gradually become one of the important dangers threatening the health and safety of young people.According to WHO data, traffic accidents are the first cause of death for children and adolescents in 2020,and they also cause major diseases. And one of the main causes of disability.Adolescents have less social experience, and their ability to cope with accidental injuries is lower than that of adults. The contrast between self-centered awakening and trauma that is not based on will makes them more prone to complex psychological reactions. This study is based on the theory of social support. The main research issues are the psychological trauma that young people are prone to after encountering accidents like car accidents and the intervention methods of social work case services.Through case service and literature collation, this study adopts the idea of “propose problems—analyze problems—propose solutions—solve problems”,combined with questionnaire survey and analysis methods, and found that teenagers showed symptoms of separation, anxiety, avoidance, etc.after a car accident. The factors that cause these traumas are internal and external, including the severity and nature of the car accident, support from family and society, personality, education, age, etc. When providing services, social workers propose treatment plans for the client from the three dimensions of physiology, psychology, and society, including companion therapy, psychological counseling, cognitive reconstruction, and disability assessment.Studies have shown that young people are prone to psychological trauma after a car accident, but the degree is different, and the type of problem is also different;most social workers use informal networks to establish emotional support for the client during the intervention process, but the role of formal support networks cannot be ignored; The main way of the psychological trauma caused by adolescents after a car accident is related to the family, especially the attitude of the parents or guardians;at the same time, social workers should be cautious in using the way of exposing the psychological trauma experience in similar situations. After reviewing the entire research process, the author found that it is necessary to always pay attention to avoiding ethical dilemmas during the intervention process, and follow-up and return visit services are needed to maintain the sustainability of the intervention effect. In terms of writing, this article adopts the following logic: firstly consult relevant literature to obtain social investigation and support for teenagers' accidental injuries, and relevant data on teenagers' car accidents, etc.,and find that teenagers are facing more and more accidental car accident injuries;and then through combing their hearts. The history of trauma research has found that in most cases, traumatic events have more serious impact on teenagers than adults, because teenagers have more perceptions of negative emotions, more forms of psychological reactions, and more likely to produce continuation or migration;According to the discovered problems, the research design is determined, and the research content is determined as the social work case study of the psychological trauma of the teenagers after the car accident;through the case closure, evaluation, intervention and other work, the performance and characteristics of the psychological trauma of the teenagers after the car accident are found, and the social work The main way of intervention is family and social support.
