With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,junior high schools began to include the whole book reading into the scope of the curriculum,and the whole book reading was also divided into independent sections in the compilation of textbooks for junior high schools.Reading the whole book is helpful to cultivate students' comprehensive Chinese literacy,promote students' all-round development,and has farreaching and lasting positive significance to students.Under the guidance of curriculum standards and the requirements of teaching materials,many schools are actively implementing the whole book reading,and the whole book reading has achieved initial results.However,due to various reasons of students,teachers,schools and so on,the current situation of reading the whole book is still not optimistic,and it needs long-term efforts."Zhaohuaxishi" as the middle school stage of the whole book reading recommended the first famous book,for the whole middle school stage of students to read have guiding significance.Taking "Zhaohuaxishi" as an example,the discussion on the reading teaching of the whole book can enrich the reading research of the whole book and the study of Lu Xun in theory,and provide reference for the reading teaching of the whole book and the teaching of "Chaohuaxishi" in practice.Before the implementation of the whole book reading teaching,teachers should follow the principle of reading first to enhance personal knowledge reserve.The setting of teaching objectives and reading tasks should be based on full consideration of the learning situation.Teachers' guidance should change flexibly with students' feedback and generate reading results in time."Zhaohuaxishi" is a unique existence in Lu Xun's works,which is not only a rare literary work,but also a first-hand data to study Lu Xun.When selecting the reading contents of the whole book,we should pay full attention to the cultural value,ideological value and linguistic art value.On the basis of fully excavating the text value,the reading practice of the whole book is carried out in sequence according to the stage of teaching preparation,the stage of reading guidance,the stage of students' reading,and the stage of achievements exchange and display.For the reading teaching research of the whole book,we should insist on starting from the text,under the guidance of the curriculum standard and in combination with the learning situation of Grade One students,design the whole book reading teaching strategy suitable for the book of Chaohuaxishi,so as to start the whole book reading of the whole middle school stage.
