With the growing phenomenon of "Chinese fever" and the rapid development of relations between China and Thailand,more and more Thais want to learn Chinese and speak authentic Mandarin Chinese.In Chinese teaching,phonetics teaching is the most basic link,and the Chinese consonants are very easy to make mistakes.Based on many teaching practices in Yangtaladwittayakarn School(hereinafter referred to as "YW Middle School")in Kalasin Province,northeastern Thailand,and combined with artificial and Praat phonetics software,I recorded and listened to the school 's 30 elementary Chinese-level high school students,and analyzed the errors of Thai students in learning Chinese consonants and the reasons for the errors.Furthermore,based on the characteristics of the students and the curriculum distribution model of YW Middle School in Thailand,I put forward some phonetic teaching principles for middle school students in Northeast Thailand,and finally put my own research results into practice.The introduction part mainly introduces the topic background,research status and content of the thesis,and makes a comparative analysis of Chinese and Thai consonants;The second chapter investigates the pronunciation of Chinese consonants in 30 high school students of YW Middle School,and analyzes the collected recording samples to find out the pronunciation errors that students are prone to produce,and use Praat software to map individual consonants to make analysis and comparison;The third chapter analyzes the reasons for the pronunciation errors when the students of YW middle school in Thailand learn Chinese consonants,that is,the negative transfer of the mother tongue,the influence of the pronunciation of Chinese pronunciation,the influence of the teacher's own pronunciation and teaching strategies,the learning interest and learning methods of the students,and unbalanced distribution of pronunciation courses,etc.;The fourth chapter summarizes a series of Chinese phonetic teaching principles for Thai middle school students based on the personality characteristics of Thai YW middle school students and the curriculum distribution and classroom management mode of Thai Northeast Middle School,and proposes specific teaching methods and error solutions for consonants.Chapter 5 puts the research results into practice,applies theoretical knowledge to practical teaching,and writes detailed teaching plan design and teaching reflection.The final conclusion part summarizes the research content and research results of the thesis,makes a new prospect for the Chinese phonetics teaching in Thailand,and points out the deficiencies of the thesis.
