With the intelligent mobile phone and the popularity of mobile communication network, mobile phone network has become a new favorite of people, especially young students. The characteristics of mobile network, such as portability, concealment and interaction, not only bring convenience to young students, but also have a great impact on their physical and mental health and social functions. Therefore, the research of mobile Internet addiction is imperative. As a part of the youth group, vocational college students are suffering from the troubles and perplexities from adolescence and the pressure of their own development in the process of socialization. They have experienced the setback of college entrance examination. They are faced with the contradiction and conflict between the short length of schooling in higher vocational education but the high academic requirements and the lack of their own knowledge, which easily leads to the inferiority mentality. In addition, their time and energy of communication with the outside world are run by their heavy academic work, which leads to their poor interpersonal skills, lack of interpersonal communication skills and tense interpersonal relations,so they feel lonely and depressed. In order to eliminate the influence of negative emotion on themselves, they will adopt the cognitive emotion strategy which is mainly negative. With the change of school management mode,in the absence of the supervision of teachers and parents, they use the mobile network to escape from emotional distress,or through the mobile network to broaden interpersonal relationships to meet the inner needs. The temptation of the mobile network makes it difficult for them to control themselves and indulge in it.In addition, although the mobile phone network meets the needs of communication between higher vocational students and the outside world, the interpersonal relationship it creates is transient, unstable and unreliable.Using simple symbols, expressions and pictures to replace the rich emotional transmission in reality across a screen will only further widen their distance from the outside world, make their interpersonal relationship more indifferent, and further restrict the development of interpersonal communication ability. The virtual interpersonal scope expands, but the real interpersonal circle shrinks. The bad interpersonal relationship strengthens their negative emotions and forms a vicious circle. Therefore, there is an intermediary role of negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the role of mobile Internet addiction on interpersonal communication ability. In this study,1574 vocational college students in Zhaoqing were taken as the research objects, and the mobile Internet addiction scale,Cognitive Emotion Regulation
