With the change of The Times and the development of the society,everything is increasingly seeking for new things.Chinese curriculum is also trying to find new teaching ideas to break the bottleneck and open up a brand new road.The integration of pragmatics and Chinese curriculum is an inevitable trend of the development of The Times.More and more people view the current Chinese teaching from the perspective of pragmatics,bringing a fresh blood to Chinese teaching.Chinese course is a comprehensive and practical course to learn the use of language and characters.Therefore,novels centered on language art are an important part of teaching,and learning novels also means learning languages.On the one hand,the linguistic environment is the foundation of the existence of language;on the other hand,speech is the carrier of the linguistic environment,which reflects the context.Therefore,language and context are inseparable.Therefore,context theory,as the core of pragmatics,is an indispensable part of the teaching of novels.This paper explores the application of context theory in high school novel teaching by taking the fiction items in the compulsory textbook for people's education edition as an example.Based on the understanding and analysis of context theory and the current situation of high school novel teaching,this paper puts forward the possibility and necessity of context theory in high school novel teaching,and puts forward the specific strategies and some misunderstandings that should be avoided in the application of context theory in high school novel teaching.At present,there is a lack of context theory in high school novel teaching.In order to make up for the deficiency,the teaching strategies proposed in this paper are mainly aimed at two levels,one is the teaching level of novel reading,the other is the teaching level of novel writing.From the perspective of reading teaching,it includes three aspects: first,the analysis of the novel text based on the text context;Secondly,it helps to understand the novel with the help of the reader's context.Thirdly,the teaching context should be created to improve the teaching of novels.However,the teaching of novel writing mainly refers to the continuation and adaptation of novel works,and combines context theory with writing,so as to implement the requirements of curriculum standards into the actual classroom.When using strategies in teaching,first of all,we should pay attention to improve the quality of teachers,second,we should follow the application of context theory,and last,we should pay attention to cultivate students' context awareness.At present,the study and application of context theory are more and more concerned in the education circle.It is an urgent task for Chinese teachers to apply context theory to the teaching of novels,form a new teaching concept and generate new teaching methods.This paper hopes that through this research,it can provide new methods and ideas for solving the existing problems in Chinese novel teaching,improve the current situation of novel teaching,so as to improve the effectiveness of high school novel teaching and bring diversified teaching for Chinese language.
