In the development of my country's industrialization and urbanization, more and more rural people have flowed into cities to work and do business, and a large number of migrant children have appeared in cities. At present, migrant children are a huge group, and their proportion accounts for more than 15% of the total population of this age group in the country.A large number of studies have shown that migrant children have problems such as poor social integration and low inter-group integration. In addition to the common characteristics of migrant children in Lhasa, migrant children also face the test of language and environment, and the situation is more complicated.Intergroup contact is a theory that effectively improves intergroup relations, which has been widely recognized by the academic community.Based on this, this research explores the status quo, existing problems and effective solutions of intergroup integration among migrant children in Lhasa from the perspective of intergroup contact theory. The study adopted a stratified sampling method and selected migrant children from three primary and secondary schools in Lhasa as samples.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 450 students, and 3 teachers and a head teacher were interviewed. The survey found that: the number of migrant children's intergroup contact is low;the quality of migrant children's intergroup contact is high;the level of intergroup cognition is low;intergroup anxiety is at a moderate level. From the perspective of inter-group contact theory, the analysis shows that there are problems in the inter-group contact of migrant children in Lhasa, such as weak dependence, insufficient inter-group interaction, easily neglected emotions, and single cognitive channels.According to the inter-group theory Countermeasures and suggestions for inter-group integration of migrant children: build a community of learning and growth, promote cooperative interdependence between migrant children and local children;weaken identity boundary recognition and reshape equal status;scientifically arrange teaching projects and create a goal vision for cooperative learning; The government has given more support to migrant children in the formulation of relevant policies.
