| Mathematical language is an important tool for mathematical communication.As a significant section of mathematical language capacity,the capacity of mathematical language conversion is helpful to the development of mathematical language ability.Good mathematics language conversion ability can help students perform different language representations in different problem situations,thereby helping students better understand knowledge and solve mathematical problems.It is necessary to investigate the ability of mathematics language conversion and carry out experimental research on intervention and improvement.The main problems of the research include :(1)What is the level of mathematics language conversion ability of junior two students?(2)What are the problems and reasons of junior two students’ mathematics language conversion ability?(3)Through the intervention of the strategies to improve the mathematics language conversion ability of junior two students,can the mathematics language conversion ability of the students be improved?In order to research the above three issues.Firstly,the literature analysis method is used to arrange,analyze and generalize the domestic and abroad reference referred to mathematics language and mathematics language conversion.In order to form a systematic understanding and determine the research ideas.Secondly,compile the junior two students’ mathematics language conversion ability test questions and modify them based on the opinions of experts and mathematics teachers.Determine the research tool "Pre-test and Post-test Questions on the Mathematics Language Conversion Ability of Junior Two Students",and issue test papers to collect data.Thirdly,Analyze the problems that appear in the test questions.Then conduct interviews with teachers and students.From the perspectives of teachers and students,the reasons for the problems in students’ mathematics language conversion ability are summarized.Develop strategies for students’ math language conversion ability.Finally,use experimental research methods to carry out intervention experiments.The experimental class carried out interventions to improve mathematics language conversion ability,and the control class did not intervene.The post-test data is used to test whether the students’ mathematics language conversion ability has been improved,and to verify the effectiveness of the improvement strategy.Based on the above research,it is concluded that :(1)In terms of mathematics language conversion ability of junior two students,the overall level is relatively low.The graphic language has the lowest level of ability to transform the symbolic language dimension.(2)There is no prominent difference between male and female students in mathematics language conversion capacity of junior two students.There are prominent differences among students of different levels.(3)There are three problems in the mathematics language conversion ability of junior two students:conceptual problems,linguistic problems and negligence problems.(4)In terms of the reasons for the problems,the reasons from the teacher’s perspective include:Underestimate the mathematics language conversion ability and affect the students’ mathematics language mastery.The lack of standard mathematics language usage leads to poor standardization of students’ language.The reasons for the student’s perspective include:Ignoring the ability of mathematics language conversion leads to frequent negligence problems.The weak foundation of mathematics language leads to obstacles in language understanding.Mathematics language expression ability is not strong,resulting in insufficient language conversion ability.(5)In terms of intervention to improve the results of the experiment.After the intervention,the students’ mathematics language conversion ability in the experimental class improved significantly.The middle group students have the highest degree of improvement,and there is no significant difference in the degree of improvement between male and female students.In order to improve students’ mathematics language conversion ability,the study puts forward six improvement strategies:(1)Change the idea of teachers and raise awareness of emphasizing the mathematics language conversion ability.(2)Pay attention to classroom teaching and consolidate the foundation of mathematical language knowledge.(3)Emphasize language expression and lay the foundation for mathematical language conversion.(4)Enhancing the communication between colleagues and improving the teaching methods of mathematics language.(5)Grasp the differences between students and teach students in accordance with their aptitude based on the level of mathematics language conversion.(6)Change students’ attitudes and increase interest in mathematics language conversion... |
