Research On The Old-age Communication Network In The New Public Space Of Rural Areas

Xingfu Wu for the Elderly is a new public space with pension functions led by the government and managed by the elderly.The elderly can chat and communicate,participate in recreational and sports activities,and realize self-management and interaction with the government,family,social welfare organizations and other social subjects through the elderly association.Its function not only plays a role in rural pension undertakings,but also resonates with the rural society as a whole.The elderly is one of core of the rural society,not only itself as the participants of rural social affairs,is also working with rural villagers sustain cordelle,therefore attaches great importance to the elderly pension status,encourage social forces of the old,in both the endowment rural revitalization and career development significance.This study Xingfu Wu as a starting point,the town of Hunan province town of X and G in both the happiness of the house as a research object,by the method of participatory observation and focus of the interview,first of all,for Xingfu Wu basic description,operation condition,the dynamic mechanism of social relation network which is formed around house compared with the old past social relations,analysis happiness house changes brought by the social relations in the country.Finally,based on the relationship network,this study analyzes the communication network of the elderly in rural areas and explores the new characteristics of the elderly in information communication and social participation through the Xingfu Wu,a new public space for elderly care.Xingfu Wu provide the exclusive space for communication,take the elderly from small groups which have private internal network,scattered,broken strong relationship to expand to open,gather and are connected to each weak relationship graph,and in everyday interactions,stimulate trust,reciprocity,and interaction between the specification,the flow of social capital in the internal network.Internal network at the same time,the elderly and the government,family and other external network interactive level increases,the one-way relationship helped expand for two-way flow path,and inspired the elderly autonomy and participate in the potential of rural society,the elderly in the village social power structure,the main object of edge position gradually from dependence to independence position again.By means of Xingfu Wu and association for the aged,the elderly constantly strengthen the toughness of the internal network,and frequently resonate with the external subjects,so as to enhance the effectiveness of the rural social network.Communication network is embedded in the social system,one part of which overlaps with the social communication system to form interpersonal communication and organizational communication,the other part builds mass communication and new media communication with the help of technology.For internal communication system for the elderly,weak ties to drive information flow and happiness in within the room,communication frequency and strength increasing consolidation,the change in attitude and subjective norms and behavior,opinions can be converted to one hand into the collective action of old people,on the other hand,deepen the autonomous behavior of the elderly.For the external communication system of the elderly,the independent discussion environment in the Xingfu Wu is helpful for the elderly to improve their media literacy and enhance their awareness and ability to identify the information transmitted by mass media and new media.The consolidation of the internal relationship network and the extension of the external relationship network expand the dialogue channels of the elderly in rural areas,and the formation of internal opinions also enhance the ability of the elderly to communicate with the outside world.However,the current development of Xingfu Wu is still highly dependent on the economic and emotional support of other social subjects.Happy house has not yet become an independent pole of rural society,so its role in rural society is still quite limited.Secondly,the knowledge structure and thinking logic of the elderly in the Xingfu Wu are relatively similar.The happy house should be vigilant against the opposition with other public Spaces in the rural society,and should maintain a positive state of external communication and mutual connection,so as to ensure the overall information flow and communication between the elderly and the countryside.
