| Mathematics is a highly abstract discipline,and mathematical abstraction ability is an important and key mathematical ability in mathematics subject,it helps students to look at the real world from a mathematical perspective.At present,the research on mathematical abstraction ability mainly focuses on the assessment and cultivation methods of students’ mathematical abstraction ability,but there are few researches on the factors impacting mathematical abstraction capability.Therefore,to investigate the specific variables that affect the abstraction capability of high school students in mathematics,as well as the influence path and effect of these factors on mathematical abstract ability,on the one hand is conducive to enriching and developing relevant research on high school students’ mathematical abstract ability,on the other hand is conducive to guiding teachers’ teaching practice.This article primarily uses the literature analysis approach to extract the elements that influence high school students’ abstraction proficiency in mathematics,taking high school students in H city,H Province as the research object,applying the test technique and questionnaire approach to access the ethical data for the empirical study,a model of factors impacting mathematical abstraction proficiency was constructed on the basis of structural equation modeling(SEM)methodology,and the following three aspects of work.First,exploring the current state of senior high school students’ development of mathematical abstraction skills.Analyzing students’ current level of abstraction,reflecting on the why students have difficulty with abstraction,and drawing conclusions:(1)As a whole,students are at an intermediate degree of mathematical abstraction;(2)Unequal development of mathematical abstraction skills among students,and the level of outreach and generalization needs to be raised;(3)There is no remarkable discrepancy in the degree of mathematical abstraction ability among boys and girls.Secondly,to construct a model of factors influencing high school students’ mathematical abstract ability and explore the mechanism of these factors influencing mathematical abstract ability.The hypothetical model was structured using AMOS software,and after identifying,matching,assessing,and amending it,a model of the forces impacting the mathematical abstraction ability of high school students was acquired,and the results were as indicated below:(1)Teachers’ teaching activity support has both direct and indirect effects on mathematical abstract ability,the effect was the largest,with an effect value of0.458;(2)Mathematical meta-cognitive abilities,and mathematical cognitive architecture have a direct impact on the ability to abstract mathematics,and its effect is 0.347 and 0.186,respectively;(3)Mathematical internal motivation has no direct effect on mathematical abstract ability,but it has indirect effect,whose effect is 0.271.Thirdly,based on the model analysis of influencing factors of senior high school students’ mathematical abstract ability,the following teaching suggestions are put forward :(1)Change the teaching method,flexibly design inquiry activities,and students’ perception of abstract process;(2)Infiltrate mathematical thoughts,guide students’ learning strategies,and develop students’ abstract thinking;(3)Construct knowledge in an orderly manner,strengthen students’ cognitive structure,and cultivate students’ abstract ability;(4)Integrate the history of mathematics to increase the interest of mathematics learning and stimulate students’ abstract motivation. |
