The quality of talent training in the new era has new requirements,and the corresponding high school mathematics curriculum standards have been revised,and six core qualities headed by "mathematical abstraction" have been proposed.Mathematics originated from the abstraction of the objective world.Mathematics abstraction promotes the continuous development of mathematics.Therefore,it is very necessary to explore how to develop students' abstract literacy in mathematics teaching.This article aims to propose teaching strategies for the development of abstract subjects in mathematics.To this end,three research questions were set up:(1)What is the level of literacy in the abstract subjects of mathematics for the freshmen of senior high school?(2)What is the teaching strategy of the unit "Functional Concepts and Properties" to promote higher-level mathematics abstract subject literacy?(3)What is the effect of the implementation of the teaching strategy of the unit "Concepts and Properties of Functions" based on the development of the abstract subjects of mathematics? The research uses the "Function Concepts and Properties" unit of the third chapter of the compulsory high school mathematics of the People's Education B edition as the research object,using questionnaire survey method,case study method,education observation method,interview method and text analysis method.First,according to the "level division of the core literacy of mathematics subjects",prepare a test paper for the literacy level of the abstract mathematics subject for investigation and research;then,based on the survey results and consulting related documents,propose a teaching strategy for the development of the "function concept and nature" unit of the abstract mathematics literacy;The teaching strategy implements the "concept of function" teaching,and the effectiveness of the teaching strategy is verified through the implementation of the effect observation table and teacher interviews.Three conclusions were obtained through the research: First,the literacy level of the freshman in the abstract subjects of mathematics is average;second,the teaching strategies for developing the literacy level of the abstract subjects of mathematics should be combined with specific teaching content,such as the "function concept and nature" unit;third,Incorporating the history of mathematics into the classroom,analyzing functional symbols,and cultivating students' inductive thinking are all helpful to the development of abstract subjects in mathematics.Based on the research conclusions,two suggestions are put forward: First,pay attention to the cultivation of the literacy of the abstract subject of mathematics in the teaching of function topics;second,actively develop teaching designs that help students develop the literacy of the abstract subject of mathematics.
