With the rapid development of technology and the times,creativity,as the most important economic resource in the 21 st century,has become the core competitiveness of the new era.The level of individual creativity is not only related to personal development,but also affects the future of nation.Cultivating students’ creativity has gradually become the theme of today’s education.This research takes“the creative teaching behavior of elementary school music teachers” as the research object,and makes a detailed analysis of its concept,characteristics and behavior.The research is divided into four following parts:The first part is theoretical research,mainly using literature research methods to sort out and analyze the domestic and foreign literature related to the research questions,and clarify the concepts and characteristics of primary school music teachers’ creative teaching behavior.The second part is survey design,survey implementation and result analysis.First,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the creative teaching behaviors of 180 primary school music teachers in City C using self-evaluation questionnaire,and then the teachers who participated in the questionnaire survey were stratified through classroom observation and semi-structured interview.16 teachers were randomly selected for observation and interview,and the creative teaching behaviors of primary school music teachers were analyzed based on all three survey results.Analysis shows that primary school music teachers have deviations in their understanding of the concept and value of creative teaching behaviors,and lack of theoretical knowledge and practical ability to support their implementation of creative teaching behaviors.The third part is influencing factors analysis.According to the analysis of the existing problems of primary school music teachers’ creative teaching behavior,the most important factor that affects primary school music teachers’ creative teaching behavior is the teacher’s own teaching philosophy and ability.The fourth part proposes targeted suggestions for the creative teaching behavior of primary school music teachers based on the investigation and analysis of influencing factors.This article proposes suggestions on the creative teaching behavior of primary school music teachers from three aspects: deepening primary school music teachers’ understanding of creative teaching behavior,improving primary school music teachers’ teaching ability,and providing learning resources,so as to help front-line primary school music teachers make better use of creative teaching.Which could better cultivate students’ creativity in music teaching.
